Minnesota played their best game of the season without Percy harvin... Don't gimme that! Will miss him though buy don't forget about #28 and chritian ponder also coming off his best game of his career...... It does kind is suck to see Seattle rolling with two very good recievers they got from us though haha

Minnesota is in trouble. just put 8 and 9 in the box and doubledawgdare ponder to throw it. i see minnesota twice a year as a chicagoian, and i have no fear of ponder. if Minnesota doesn't get extra help, they are going to break AP (leagues best player btw) by running him into the ground.
Alex Smith - thats a tricky one. hes a game manager, a few (not many) notches above Kyle Orton imo. but KC has a running game, they have Dwayne Bowe, they are gonna have a better line. i dont like that KC is keeping Glenn Dorsey. the defense will need work. but Assuming the Chiefs stay healthy, and they play the Chargers early in the season (cause SD is always a slow starting team), i think they could weasel their way to a 9-7 record (remember also that they will have an easier schedule because of how bad they were last year). but thats also assuming all those assumptions. they could easily go 6-10 if the stars dont align correctly.

your titans should just start over from scratch.
but not this year. this years draft class is not great. i would just trade any one with value for 2014 and 2015 picks and then rebuild from the bottom up

A bears fan eh?? Marshall was good for you guys but cutler will keep choking and your D is getting older.... Btw I predicted the collapse last season to some bears friends of mine about them missing the playoffs and yes they were the first team since 1992? To start 7-1 and miss the playoffs.. Also gonna go ahead and give the Vikings credit on getting your coach fired:-) seriously though did u not watch the famous "9 yards short game"? Greenbay dared ponder to throw and he killed it....they also loaded the box on AP.. I'm kinda glad we didn't see ponder in the playoffs becuase at least we got something to look forward to LOL. Like I said he's coming off the best game of his 2 year career.

Jake Locker is horrible. CJ2K is a one trick pony. and Britt cant avoid being arrested to save his life.

the D isnt getting older, its already gotten old. Urlacher lost the speed, Tillman lost the speed, pepper is losing his speed. if Briggs was smart he'd get out of town fast. Cutler is the best QB we've had since Sid Luckman, and is lifetimes better than Christian Ponder. you predicted a bunch of injuries? great job! when your starting QB and RB miss games, and you still win 10 games, thats still better than 19 teams, and worse than 12. Coach got fired because the GM didnt like him and wanted an excuse. how you fire the 3rd best coach in the teams 90+ year history is mind bogglingly stupid. and i stand by what i said, i'll let ponder throw all damned day. Cutler needs OLine help and a #2 WR. Ponder needs a new arm. thats the difference

Trust me I'm not gonna talk ponder up like he's the best.. He has disapointed me quite a bit but that game on the top of your list is what I'm talking about.. If he can keep that up we can do something.. Maybe... Need some weapons(recievers) and hopefully Kyle Rudolph's pro bowl performance wasn't a fluke lol. Firing your coach was stupid I agree. My predictions on teams making a run... NFC= SF, Seattle, Greenbay, saints, falcons? Redskins? AFC= not the ravens... Denver will be back, patriots, Houston, colts? Steelers? Fuck the ravens... I'd like to see niners with boldin go far though.

Not to do with free agency but I'm looking forward to seeing how Russel Wilson (SEA) improves this year! He's got some skills for as small as he is!
Happy and sad about the Broncos acquisition so far - will be totally bummed if Kuper is the odd man out, but Vasquez is a good pickup.
Non-homer:
Can't believe Wallace went to Miami. I know it's about the money, but no one ever wants to play for that dysfunctional house.
Boldin trade to 49ers still weird to me. I expected them to go younger.

I'm a Jags fan wishing we were 2-14 last year and not this year. At least our receiving corps took a step forward with Cecil Shorts and Justin Blackmon, but I hope Gabbert gets some better protection so he can get one more legit shot at seeing if he is a starting caliber NFL QB.

sadly i dont think he is. but ive been very wrong before. Blackmon made me want to die, Cecil Shorts was a damned stud this year. Gabbert is better than any QB in the draft this year, so might as well roll the dice. if he sicks it up, hopefully its really really horrible and you guys can draft a new QB next year.

Shucks, I can't even partake in this conversation.
My team is still reeling from 3-5 years of TERRIBLE GM Decisions, and likely wont be making any big splashes in free agency as they are severely cap strapped.
Alot of people talk trash about the New York Jets and this and that, especially the media. It's like the media is obsessed over them, even before Teblow was around.
I wish the jets would've kept Braylon Edwards years ago and let santonio holmes walk (instead of giving him a 6 year 66 million dollar contract, which crippled the team)
Sad to see Shonn Greene leave the jets as well as some other long time veterans, but the team is inevitably getting younger and faster...I just hope John Idzik makes some better draft choices compared to Mike Tannenbaum did.
Miami is making out well. Definitely some game changers in Wallace and Ellerbe.
Seattle putting all chips on the table for championship this year and are gunna be the team to beat in the NFC West.

I really hope the Falcons pick up Shonn Greene, Rashard Mendenhall, or especially Stephen Jackson.
With SJax in the backfield, and our quadruple threat receiver option... I see the Falcons putting up 30+ a game (we practically did that last year too).
Now if our anemic defense can get it together... we shoulda creamed the 49ers.

Packers need to shore up their line, on both sides of the ball. Rodgers ate way too many sacks and we couldn't get any pressure on D besides Matthews. Watching the 49ers game was brutal, especially after shutting down AP the week before (after AP ran all over the Pack the week before that).
But Packers are notorious for drafting and training, so I don't foresee any big moves from FA.

Looks like our only shot at a FA RB is now SJax... who I am totally ok with. The only other thing I could see is the Falcons picking up a stout defender (or 2) from FA, and then drafting all D and a RB in the 3rd.

Rich gannon was like 44 before he got taken out of the game. I think payton can play 5-6 years if he doesn't get banged up. He isn't a chancy QB he sits in the pocket and throws, and he's a big boy, he's not gonna get hit/hurt that often

my bears scooped up Bennett and Axelrod, TE and LT from NYG and NO, respectively. so at least they are making moves. id be so upset if i was a fan of a team where they didnt even try (hi Cleveland!)
and as much as i hate the packers, i do respect them, a lot. Bears and Packers is the best rivalry in sports. its not the most famous rivalry, its not the most heated rivalry, but it is the oldest rivalry, and theres a certain feeling u get at those games that you dont get from other inner division games.

I think a really good tight end free agent who is severely underrated due to a nagging injury last year is Dustin Keller. This dude was the only consistent target on the jets after braylon Edwards and Cotchery were sent packing and Holmes was given a disgusting 60+ million dollar contract.
Dustin Keller is too fast to be covered by a tight end, and even gets open against most defensive backs. Hes an excellent blocker despite being somewhat undersized, but makes up for his blocking with excellent hands and speed. The guy had an awesome connection with mark sanchez, and I'm sad to see him go as a jets fan. Any team who picks up keller will have a new weapon with which to create mismatches. If he goes to a team with a system/coach/QB that can utilize him correctly, I suspect he has a probowl year.
I like that the Titans finally realized that chris Johnson isn't an everydown back, they will like having a real work horse in shonn greene(I'll miss him for sure, here's one of my most fond memories of him: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f6NyhiXI-1c Sorry patriots fans.)
Hes by no means a star running back but hes capable of ripping off long runs, hes tougher to take down then most, and hes a guy who will get the job done and protect the ball behind a decent line. Chris Johnson will only benefit from the presence of Shonn Greene, I predict a 60/40 split in favor of Chris Johnson naturally, but I suspect shonn greene to possibly get short yardage and goal line carries...which sucks for fantasy owners of chris Johnson.
As for reggie bush going to Detroit, that's kind of a big deal. In my opinion Bush showed in his last 2 seasons with Miami that hes capable of carryin a heavy load. Detroit already has two younger running backs in Joique Bell and Mikel Leshoure, adding Bush as a featured back in a ray rice type of role is going to add lots of new capabilities to Detroit's offense. They were more of less one dimensional last season without a real number 1 running back or a real number 2 receiver. You can stop reggie bush if you want, but good luck stopping calvin Johnson if you've gotta stack the box with 8 guys. The Lions just need to bring in a good number two competitor at the receiver position and they look to be pretty lethal. Now if only they could fix their defense up a bit they could contend.

he sucks bro..... he dont impress me at all
He was playing behind one of the worst O Lines in the NFL, ATL has one of the best. Trust me, this man is gonna get it done. He will split downs with Jacquizz... can you imagine screens with Jacquizz and Steven Jackson? We will utilize that man like St. Louis NEVER could. :D

why is jackson to atl so good 1 he stayed hurt 2 turner is all you need
Sjax is a beast, even while missing a few games, look up the numbers. in ATL he wont have to be the work horse because they are a throw first team, and they have that Jacquizz Rodgers for change of pace. M Turner on the other hand was cut because he failed his physical.

Yea I don't get why people are saying Turner was as good as SJax lmao... not even close. Turner was like a fat tree trunk waddling downfield. SJax is the real beastmode.

the guy has 8 straight seasons of 1000+ - take minute to google the other RBs in history that have done that ;)

i would bet both my lungs to 1 of anyones kidneys that the only reason they aren't just cutting him and eating the loss is because the salary cap is almost not raising in 2014, but will increase a good bit by 2015. i wouldnt be surprised if they cut him after that and eat the rest of the contract.
theres no way he will finish out that contract, pretty sure it was evenly or backloaded, no way they'll pay it out

Yea I'm amazed at how little people know of the guy, yet they are talking like they have watched the Falcons since they were kids. Turner was great for a while, but he's done. He couldn't catch, couldn't convert on 3rd, couldn't do much of anything. SJax has breakaway speed, power, and he can CATCH. In other words Matt Ryan literally has 5 people to throw to - Julio, Roddy, T Gonz, HD, and SJax. We will be unstoppable. If we make the right moves on D, the Falcons will be the most ridiculous team anyone has ever seen. :D:D

I'm a Bears fan, so our off-seasons been great for the second year in a row with the big line signs. Good to see the beginning of the end of Green Bay being so fucking good every year, I'll tell you now Greg Jennings leaving is the catalyst for when they start losing in the playoffs, their names will go with the loss. Rogers will probably be there forever considering he grew up in the NFL behind Brett, but honestly the biggest threat to the Bears is how poor we play against them, always fucks us on the playoff end of the year.
Cutler chokes etc.. shut up. Go tank Trak with 5 shit clerics and when you wipe people say you're a shitty tank: theres your Jay Cutler metaphor. Dude is a boss, he's a tabloid fancy boy nonetheless, but dude does work and Marshall just solidified him having a place to throw it every snap if need be. RB's still lookin good, need to stay healthy. Defense is getting ooooooooooooold.. Urlacher is a cookie cutter Bear Linebacker, one that will go down with legend but he aint the ole B-rye he used to be, so secretly when i saw them negotiating i was like fffffuuuuuuuuuu retire dude. D is still good, clutch when they need to be, secondary's getting a little questionable mainly safeties since our CB's are creme de la creme.
tl;dr Go Bears, trade fucking Hester and get someone else for Cutler to throw to.
and seriously im going to QQ if Urlacher goes to another team.
I will too, I wish he'd just retire though. Or theyd just draft beneath his slot for when he gets hurt and misses half a year.. evvvery year
Peyton Hillis needs to find a team. He has been a diamond in the rough on some pretty sub-par offenses. Very surprised to see him still without a home.
He sits out games with a sore throat over contract disputes. Tough sell.

as far as my winners
NFC = GB, ATL, SEA, DAL (ugh, the nfc east is a mess), with the wildcard spots going to N.O. and another NFC east team, or my bears
AFC = DEN, NE, HOU, PIT, with the wildcard spots going to CIN, and IND.
;)[/QUOTE]
The Pittsburgh Turds just got worse and didn't even make the playoffs. The Ravens lost half their team. AFC North belongs to the Bengals for the next 5 years!!! AJ Green is a beast!! Who Dey!!

Seems legit. I think the 49ers are more of a threat than the Seachickens though. Green Bay? I dunno if they are gonna be worth a damn at all. Dallas... maybe. I would but Chicago above them though... it's Cutler's last chance honestly.

Jennings will be missed in wisconsin but he is coming to the end of his career, has trouble staying healthy. Supposedly he was offered 10milllion/yr from GB but not sure how many years. Anyways not having receivers isnt our problem in GB.

i dont trust the SF QB yet. ive seen grossman string together a few good games and get carried to a superbowl loss as well. that said, i dont think i trust seattles QB either. as much as i love my bears, they wont be better than the pack next year.

no, your problem is a RB, and a defense that forgot how hard they played a couple seasons ago, and need to get back on that level.

Sadly, I see the Broncos missing out on Ogletree and Te'o before their pick comes around, then waiting on Minter and missing out on him as well.
Don't be surprised if you see him in Orange & Blue.
