Lron The Server Legend coming to Red

The rumor is true guys, im sure you have all heard the mythology behind me and most of it is not true but the rumor of me coming to play on red is.

I started my illustrious and admired career of EQ in 1999 on Rallos Zek. Since that time, i have yet to find a server that gave me such pleasure boners and i think it is because of the added sense of danger and immersion PVP in EQ brought.

So with all that out of the way, i have a few questions before i think i can pick what class i want to play.

What is PvP like on this server? Do resists work like they did on rallos, or is it different? Who are considered to be the best PvP classes atm and do you foresee patches to change that? Melee vs Caster vs Pet Caster vs Hybrid, who should i choose and why?

These are a lot of questions i know, but remember that with me on this server, so follows about a hundred more people so your answers to these questions will not be in vain.

Roll your own guild and do it big
Join the darkside and fight the horde of bluebies that are current topdogs of the server due to obvious reasons (9 months uncontested looting).

resists are kind of fucked, mage earth pets are retarded overpowered, bards are pretty overpowered, monk with tstaff obv overpowered

VZTZ didn't have root pet spam. At least we have the classic xp rate and none of those annoying classic balance mechanics.

I don't know you but if you are a live streamer I would be careful. Kungen came to play a month or so ago and got griefed off the server with his 5k followers.

I would pick a good solo class to level your first character. If you have a few people coming with you, I would suggest speaking with them and get a good group to level together.

Good Solo class would be anything that is not a melee except bard. Melee is so gear/group dependent that you would /wrists before hitting 60. Make a character to farm gear/plat then select a melee class if you want.

If you need ports or want some help let me know. I have a few alts that I'm leveling so I would be happy to level with you if you make a melee. Twainz, Tyva, Twotrainz, or Bumblebeetun.

Thanks twainz. I think i look at grief differently than most people who play pvp on eq without having previously played on a pvp server. The more people that grief me, the more people i have a grudge against and therefore the more people i get to grief back. Rallos Zek had thousands of players and tons were griefers and when i look back, the grief made the game more immersive. I guess im a masochist.

I would suggest you make a druid to farm gear/plat first. Starting as a monk without a shaman partner would suck.
