I am university student studying computer science and thought that in some of the free time I have I could get some experience with a large system and at the same time contribute to one of my past times.
Does Project1999 have a CVS or SVN repository available to the public for perusal? I've got a few boxes here I could turn into a dev environment if this is the case, and I've been itching to try and fix a bug or two myself (the lifts in gfay for starters).
I have a good familiarity with C but not so much with C++ which is what I am guessing is being used for this project. At any rate, it would be a good opportunity to learn something new, so what do you say?
I did a search for any similar threads and could not find any discussing the possibilities of source code review or contributions (or even if this was an open source project and to what extent it is a fork of eqemu).
