Is anyone considering getting one of these guys?

I've weighed the pros and cons.
The only thing holding me back is the lackluster battery life, I believe Lithium Ion will be a thing of the past in the near future though, and hopefully the high energy draw can be resolved while maintaining the convenience of playing a fucking PC game from a 10" tablet.:cool::eek:

Pretty stoked and can't wait to watch this stuff develop further.

$1300 (prices exclude tax and shipping charges) for a glorified iPad seems hefty for one that's for sure. I play from a laptop and its only lasted me 3 years (though its been put through its paces, I always leave it on in the spirit of "sharing things" with the world). Battery life will definitely be a problem with it, high performance games are going to suck that thing dry :p

The laptop version on there is $2500 (http://www.razerzone.com/store/razer-blade), and the issues over battery life will probably be there too.

History has taught me, whatever happens... buy a desktop PC, stay away from laptops that I don't take anywhere very much. Tablet gaming? That's still for Angry Birds and Temple Run. At least wait a year and see what the reviews say for what's there now and what they're improving :)
