I just signed this petition:

CISPA was passed by the House during the week that the Texas Fertilizer plant exploded, and the Boston bombings happen. Add your name to this petition so that we can protect our 4th amendment rights (which requires a warrant for search and seizure). Share this on your walls, in messages, forums, everywhere! Please get this out!

Rights that were made hundreds or years ago should be updated on the regular in my eyes.

It is scary how willing people are to sacrifice freedom for the illusion of safety.

There are plenty of morons in this country and that shouldnt Legally be allowed to own guns that do. Not EVERYONE deserves to have the same rights.

...which is often under question by dubious acts of the government!

You can sit here and say liberals this, conservatives that, but the fact is that only 3 people have signed that petition, so you can blame whoever for whatever, but if you don't sign that petition, you don't have a valid voice to bitch about losing amendments.

Signing a petition is as good as hitting "like" on Facebook because you disagree with cancer.

The real shit happens out on the streets, but oh wait... those Occupy Wall Street protestors got mocked to death by everyone and told to get a job etc. Nobody seems to see the big picture.

or you could call your senators and congressmen. write real letters and such...along with signing petitions. the new bill hasn't hit the senate yet iirc and Obama may veto it anyway.

So SOPA, PIPA, and CISPA have all failed. Any guesses on what it will be called next year? Over/under on lobbying they will spend next year? Any guesses?
