I suppose the issue at hand is not whether or not they should be, but whether or not the staff feels like investing all the time to make them so.

They were implemented prekunark (very limited mqing) and a few required fixing since then may be hit or miss on which ones without some confirmation.

I tried paladin Girdle of Faith on Red and it ate the items. So count that one broken. Turn-in NPC was Dirkog Steelhand. Haven't found any info either way on this on the wiki.
