In another thread you boasted about being vegan, a devout follower of the Atkins diet, and a regular drug user.

Somehow I don't think a Schindler's list junkie is in a position to judge anyone.

I don't remember boasting about any of those things, and I am certainly not a follower of the Atkin's diet or a regular drug user. I'm an irregular drug user at most, and you'll never hear me recommending vegetable oil for human consumption.

But the topic is ranch dressing. The world sees us dipping our pizza into it, and destroying perfectly good sandwiches with it, and it's no wonder they hate us. The taste is so strong it overpowers every other flavor it touches, but that's how we like our food: strong, and overpowering. It's one thing to put it on salad (I understand most people dislike the taste of vegetables), but it's the use as a general condiment that really gets to me. The other day I saw a commercial for a ranch dressing powder, to be used as like a meat seasoning or whatever. The woman actually used the phrase "ranch burgers" and I was appalled.

It's as though we actively seek ways to make ourselves unsophisticated and loud, and that has come to include food.

I was in Subway earlier (despite not being in America) and the amount of sauces a available to wreck your sandwich is phenomenal. I've tried a few, I hate them all so far...

Toasted with cheese, add salad...that'll do. Y'all can keep your gloopy calorific sauces :p

also 9/11 was 12 years ago (nearly) we've practically rebuilt the iraqi government, killed osama bin lade, and laid waste to the majority of al quada, dont care if im spelling it wrong im not taking the 3 seconds to look up how to properly spell that bullshit.

Meh. Aside from the MSG and artificial crap, it's just buttermilk, garlic, onion, dill, parsley, basil, paprika, mustard, chives, and pepper. Mostly, it's the stuff people have been putting on pizza and burgers for ages.

But anyway... I'm from New Orleans. Flavours are never supposed to be subtle.

According to experts, Zarqawi gave al-Qaeda a highly visible presence in Iraq at a time when its original leaders went into hiding or were killed after the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks in the United States.[58]

Not a huge fan of blue cheese. I really only use it in two recipes that i'll make every once in a while, for BBQs or beach bonfires.

Blue cheese crumbles, slightly melted on top of French fries. Topped with bacon bits of course.

or

Blue cheese BBQ bacon burger with onion rings

Blue cheese. In culinary school last year chef told us that this irecipe required blue cheese I omitted it purposefully and when he asked why there wasnt blue cheese in my dish I responded "If the recipe called for me to blow my nose in it would you still want me to?"

Everyone wrong with lack of exercise.

Again, Rhambuk, I didn't eat it all the time. Just every now and then people would crave blue cheese. That's bad ass that you went to culinary school, btw. Where at? Im at CIA, SA campus

I suggest then, that you look into the San Antonio campus. In Hyde Park, you are constantly switching classes and mixing it up. But in SA, you advance with the same group for the whole 18+ months. A lot less people too for a deeper connection with chef-instructors and fellow students. Most people have received most of not all of their tuition assistance through Texas only scholarships/grants. Don't let the dream go >.<

You guys are fuckin retarded if you think the ranch is what tips to scale to fat.

Eating 1,200 calories of pizza for lunch is what makes you fat, not the 2 tablespoons of ranch (120 calories) that you dip it in, lmao.

Pretty sure you just shouldn't be eating pizza all the time.
