Firepot bound chars in Velious

What was it like back in the day for firepot bound chars during Velious? Did folks maintain their FP bind or did they let it go for a bind in Velious?

I only ever played melee on live, so I never had a FP bound char until here.

I was never bound at pots with Tecmos, so I don't have the option. But honestly I think I prefer being able to change my bind whenever I feel like it, especially when I'm soloing somewhere and need to corpse some loot or do my own CR quickly to take down a named or gate back after hatting, etc.

I agree with Tecmos. Running 4 zones naked on a cloth wearing caster is not a lot of fun. Let alone when Velious comes out.
