View Full Version : Why are KC & CoM considered outdoor zones?

Not sure why they are considered outdoor zones...they are technically inside a building. Is this a classic bug Verant didn't fix?

I'm sure there's more zones that are similar.

Look up in the sky.

Do you see sky?

Question answered.

Look at it from outside...it's in a closed building.

From the outside you're looking at a defensive wall

Don't let the outside fool you. It's a castle and CoM is a city.

Actually if you levi over KC in DL, you'll see it has a big open top, although to be fair you don't see a castle inside!

The better question is, if they are dungeons - why do some have virtually no experience bonus?

Given what we know now years later about the difficulty of dungeons, and the server statistics for P99 populace, it would seem logical for them to go in and adjust zones manually again across the board - hopefully also rectifying the mistakes made to Kunark zones.

Classic argument doesn't hold water anymore - especially seeing as how they modified Kunark zones to encourage group migration.

It is flagged as outdoors, you can cast Harmony there.

I apologize to myself on your behalf that you could not understand.

What is this modification that was made to encourage group migration? I'm confused.

Some zones classic and kunark were modified on P99 at particular times to encourage the population to use them more (or less).
Not all of these adjustments were reversed.

I would be happy for Nil to state otherwise - at which point I'll have to go find the thread where it was discussed. I don't look forward to it though.

Don't believe it was Nilbog that did it(or decided it); but he may be able to confirm.
