What's the best use of an RoA?

I can see Necros using it as mana free damage while fear kiting. But is there anything more exciting than that?

As an enchanter I use mine for a) damage to high-MR stuff, e.g. myconid reavers or raid targets that don't aoe too hard/have a small radius and b) stun/killing summoning mobs c) helping out my animation when for whatever reason i don't feel like I can charm

It's one of the extremely few items in the game that can affect your leveling speed with an INT caster, the others being either class-specific or even more expensive. And general non-resistable DPS.

Damage cap until 20 and another at 30 though, right?

So from 20-30 you're swinging a 30dmg/40del weapon which is good, but you don't get fungi regen or great mitigation.

RoA is ridiculously overpowered at level 30, especially on a necro. I never had to worry about pet damage while I was in my 30s on my necro. I have my RoA on my enchanter now and it is useful for finishing off fleeing mobs.

And I believe each level from 20-30 removes a bit of damage cap sequentially. But don't quote me on that one.

This is correct :)
