After receiving an IP Exemption for my IP address and logging off completely both accounts (as the message detailed), I can no longer log in at all from this location. My brother can access his account as well as mine from his place of residence but I can not even connect to the server anymore from mine. I have attempted to post a direct response in the petition/exploit section and am getting no response. How is that I am completely blocked off from the server after requesting an exemption? This is the exact opposite of what I requested. Has anyone experienced a situation like this? I'm hoping someone can provide an easy fix that makes me look like an incompetent idiot, If I haven't already.
Once again, I apolgeize for posting an IP Exemption topic in the Technical Discussion section, but I figured after 5 days of being exiled from my beautiful EQ, I would take measures I could possibly be flamed over. :(

First off the IP exemptions are based on your accounts and not your IP address or location. Sounds like something messed up on your end. How far to logging in can you get? do you get a blank server screen? does it just not let you connect after putting PW in? try turning off your PC. unplugging your router and modem and then plugging back in modem, wait for lights to come on then router doing the same then PC after all lights on router are on.

So you got a message to completely log off both accounts, well you were playing both accounts? you worded it in a way that makes it sound like you were two boxxing. Just want to clarify that that was not actually what was going on.

Sorry, I could have explained it in more detail without confusing people. I got my brother into the game, as we both use to play it 13 years ago, and we applied for an IP Exemption so that we could play side by side at my apartment. It was granted two days later. The IP Exemption message I received told me to log off both accounts for it to take effect. I have a desktop computer and he brings over his laptop to play games like civilization over LAN, side by side. Being in constant contact with my brother, we have been trying to figure our a fix for the problem for the last few days. I can access my account form his laptop at his place of residence, but both of our accounts are inaccessible from my apartment (tried on my desktop.) I figured it was my IP address considering that I can not log into either account from my location. When I attempt to connect to the server itself, after successfully logging into the launcher, I am met with: "A connection to the server can not be reached, please check you internet connection..."
I have had no problems logging in from my apartment prior to the IP exemption. I applied for an exemption about 2 and half years ago when I used to play on this server with a friend and it took literally 6 minutes for someone to get back to me and grant it. I am not concerned with the two days it took to get it, as I think that is pretty damn fast, but am frustrated with the inability to log on to this great server. It just doesn't make sense that after an exemption, I can no longer log onto the server.
I have attempted to bypass my router as well as reset every piece of hardware involved with my internet connection. I am still unable to log in from my place of residence and it is, to say the least, confusing the crap out of me.

Just reinstalled the launcher and game (both for a second time) and it worked for some strange reason out the blue. I'm not sure what the issue was now. Thank you for everyone who took the time to read and/or answer me. Not gonna ask questions on this one; just going to play my beloved Everquest!
