I just don't like "Hollywood" taking what they think is the entire reason for the show's success (insanely brutal things happening and also main char's dying) then turning the dials up out of control to "maximize profit".

Just turn successful book into successful show. Going overboard on some of this stuff, while usually entertaining, only turns a great work of fiction into some (while still entertaining) profiteering gore festival.

That said... the shit was not classic and the doc does cannot entirely approve.
