Just because Captain Murphy is awesome doesn't mean you're right. The so-called "fish" in lakes and rivers or not actual fish. "Freshwater fish" is a colloquial term for amphibians and sometimes even reptiles that was first used in the Deep South.

Although they are called fish seeds, they are actually pre-fertilized eggs. It's not at all like farming, and you know nothing at all about fish.

LOL you see any of the more recent news publications that actually telling us that "small amounts of mercury are GOOD for us" now?

Such ridiculous fucking propaganda. It doesn't even matter at this point. Either there's gonna be some REVOLUTIONARY new GMO science, that actually bring health BENEFITS to people and other organisms, or our kid's kid's aren't gonna have anything to eat.

Was reading another article the other day talking about a new species of genetically engineered salmon. The company was trying to get clearance to release them to the wild to spawn. Scientists were explaining how, since the salmon are so genetically superior to all other SALMON on the planet (having been cross-bred with various types of much heartier, open ocean fish) they would effectively extinct all other species of salmon.

As well as who knows how many other species of fish.

GMO fish cure cancer but unfortunately give you AIDS.

GM fish, apparently, will eventually extinct all natural fish in the world if they're released to the wild.

This also appears to be the case with many other GMOs (both plant AND animal.) Now keep in mind these NEW GMOs are all being patented.

So, in theory, a couple centuries from now major corporations may literally OWN every plant and animal on the planet.

I'm pretty sure people won't still have their guns by then man. They're ALREADY trying to take them away.

Read the articles about Monsanto mounting legal offensives against innocent farmers who've had Monsanto's GMO seeds blown into their fields from neighboring Monsanto fields.

These farmers HATE this happening to begin with, because the Monsanto GMO crops start taking over their fields on their own. So really, this shit is happening NOW.

It should tell you something when CHINA, RUSSIA, AND EXTREMELY POOR EU NATIONS have REUQUIRED GMO labelling, and even TURN AWAY GMO grain imported from the US.

Not only do they acknowledge the health defects caused by them, they're also afraid of these crops taking hold on THEIR shores and extincting their natural crops that have been selectively bred over literally hundreds of years.

Fish is bad for you because of all the mercury we put in oceans. Stop eating it.

We polluted everything. Live in a glass bubble.

Algae in the fishes stomach helps cure the mercury poisoning. Its a super food.

Also Alwen your science is wrong. Babies die from vegetarians and child services gets called on the bad parents harming their children with poor diets. No citation needed since this is obvious. Think of the children. Bhuddists monks live on a vegetable broth starvation diet. Not applicable to most hominids doing real life living.

But I do agree that tilapia is an awesome fish. And a lot of it can be home grown or bought from a fish farm. Does not need to come from mercury polluted ocean.

You have that completely backwards between the rocket launcher and the tank. You'd need the tank first for the rocket launcher's primary purpose of armor-busting to be necessary. And why the would you pull out a ground-to-air missile (AKA anti aircraft missiles) for a tank?

I also find it hilarious that somebody would eat meat but be revolted by fish.

Have you ever smelled a chicken farm (possibly one of the most repulsive stenches on this planet)? Have you seen the way cows are farmed? Factory farms are so mind-blowingly disgusting, you'd have to be a brain-dead hypocrite to make some kind of distinction between meat and fish.

Plus, the health benefits of fish far outweigh any sort of "benefits" from farmed meat. Let's revisit American children 20 years from now and see how the ridiculous amount of hormones fed to our livestock are affecting them. We're already seeing the side effects of such practices.

In short, your "fish r bad B/C mercury n' bad taste" argument is the equivalent of farting into the internet.

Kagatobs

fish r bad B/C mercury n' bad taste

Enjoy your mercury induced "brain food" alzheimers. Real big mystery why the disease is on the rise. Deny it all you want but the reason is right in your fish that is suspiciously deemed good for your brain when indeed it's proving otherwise. They want you to forget. They are working against you and they like it. Money. Money. And more money.

"The cost of coping with the disease — currently estimated at $215 billion — is projected to rise to half a trillion dollars by 2050. That amount will likely tax our overburdened health care system, the economy and the families of those affected."

"More than 5 million people in the United States are living with Alzheimer's disease, a 10 percent increase from five years ago, according to a new report from the Alzheimer's Association. This number includes 4.9 million people over the age of 65 and between 200,000 and 500,000 people under age 65 with early onset Alzheimer's disease and other dementias."

"In 40 years, there will be 13.8 million people in the U.S. alone living with Alzheimer's."
