So I log on where I'm camped right at raster. He's up and nothing around him is dead. I start clearing mino's and a few seconds later, Oooeygooey shows up and heads straight to raster and kills him, while I'm yelling "NOOOOO". I'd been camping for a week straight btw, seen about 50ph's.

Anyways, turns out that someone had said on ooc that raster was up, and Oooey had mentioned that she was going to get him. Well i logged on and started clearing BEFORE ooey got there, but after that was said in ooc.

Oooey claims she tried to kill raster, but got too much aggro and FD'd and /q'd out before I got there.

Was this a kill steal?

I feel like at the very least it was not terribly honorable of Oooey to just run up and kill him. I didn't try to contest her why she was killing, just tried to talk her out of it like a normal, decent human being.

Logging /quit is an abandonment of a camp and if Oooey deserved the idol she would know how to play a fucking monk and split the camp.

a) FD bug occurs, last night I ate a death in LGuk because as soon as i'd pop out of FD a wizard would come straight to me, and i was being dumb and trying to fd little by little to an exit instead of /q'ing

b) this is everquest, gonna have bad luck on spawns, which it sounds like you did. Seems a bit dramatic to say you wasted all your time. Were you IN the camp when it got pulled? You got leapfrogged, i dont know if id call that a kill steal. That's more bad manners than illegal

Yeah, i was killing 4 minos right outside raster room. Raster was next after them. Ooog saw this and ran right past me to him.

I was already making my way down to Raster to check if he was camped when the announcement was made that he had spawned, so I said in OOC that I was on my way down to kill him and proceeded to run down there as fast as I could, dragging a decent size train with me.

Once I reached the room outside Raster I feigned and /q'd to drop agro. There was no-one in the room or Raster's room at the time.

Upon logging back in (~2 mins later) I saw a necro fighting 3-4 Minotaurs in the room outside Raster's room, so I ran in there, engaged him and killed him.

As per the poster above - it wasn't a kill steal, and it may be perceived as being bad mannered, but it was a race to a mob that had been announced in OOC and you had no claim to, especially given you weren't actually in Raster's room and hadn't engaged him.

It is also very dramatic to claim that you have wasted 30 hours when in reality you wasted 2 minutes at most.

It took me about 3 days to get him to spawn for my monk, that gd camp is ass. I left with about 5 ebony swords, 1 talisman and 4 arms. That camp is straight up ass

Space, you're pissed and Raster's a bitch to pop, so understandably so. Sadly, rules are enforced exactly as stated. You'd have to have been INSIDE his camp (that fuckin room) or have aggro from him to classify this as a KS, via P99 rules. What you just experienced was the same anger behind every post you read about FTE squabbles / bigger guilds using smaller guilds as clearing mechanisms.

You guys seem to forget that Racun was actually there first and just had to /quit to clear aggro. Allowing him to have the mob in that situation is no more a courtesy than allowing Space to have it because he showed up and started clearing the trash as Racun was logging back in. I think she was on the way to raster camp and was clearing aggro from the maze area. She wandered in the room while I was there, which by the way there is no door, it could all be considered the same room, meaning she /q'd out outside of that area.

At that moment the camp had been forfeited in regards of "douchiness." Regardless if oogy was there first, being a complete dip shit that obviously had malicious intent to commit such an act as oogy admitted he saw someone fighting mobs right next to Raster, the "douchiness" crown goes to oogy. The "courtesy" goes to Space for actually being in the game fighting mobs and obviously trying to clear to Raster. As the only logical person in this entire p99 universe, oogy admitted the "douchiness" right here in this thread and deserves to be punished accordingly.
TMO will demonstrate this exact specific "douchiness" as if wearing it with a badge of honor. And those of you who don't know, this "quido" person is patrica, the real money trade king that funds this project while getting away with such "douchiness" on a constant basis. The amount of evil and examples of corruption TMO portrays is the very reason we have people like oogy who do this to other fellow Everquest players who are trying to legitimately enjoy the game. TMO and oogy only know how to enjoy the game at the expense of ruining others enjoyment of Everquest by any means possible which include potential alts like oogy. Must be a spawn of TMO to commit such "douchiness" and thus be congratulated and defended by the corrupt staff molds that is TMO in this very thread.
People will continue enjoy the game at others expense, as such, as long as they can get away with it which they currently are and will continue to do. Thank your staff members for these type of players because the low population on both P99 and Red99 couldn't be possible without them. So many have turned away from this project and those who haven't even experienced this project are well aware of the corruption of both these servers in which how everything is handled and neglected.
