The wait in between releases is in order to mirror the actual combined song length of Tool albums.

Maynard is doing Puscifer right now. They're doing Lollapalooza this summer.

Each Tool record is a spiritual experience, new boundaries discovered.

Be patient, mortal.

sabbath couldn't sell their souls to have the talent that tool has.

mind you i'm not saying tool doesn't have talent, i'm just laughing at your narrow minded evaluation of it

tool does what they do really well, i just personally get bored of it after a couple songs.. try as they might to fight against the bullshit 3 chord 4/4 standard format, they give off a feeling of repetitiveness after a few songs that ends up giving me a headache. I like a tinge more melody..

I think SOAD does tool better than tool does.

Kind of like zomboy did skrillex better than skrillex, kind of like phil lesh & friends do the grateful dead better than the grateful dead..

I've seen Tool live only once, and I just thought it was weird. After Undertow it became a cliche to be a Tool fan. Maynard is just a weirdo guy from Ohio.

4 posts and still couldn't refute that sabbath lacks the talent that tool has.
