Slow zombies are terrible, as long as you have ammo or are on the high ground slow zombies pose 0 threat besides restricting your freedom of movement. Why do you think resident evil (one example) also has infected dogs/birds as well as various bio-monsters?

I like how they didn't "cure" the infection, I felt like the approach they took to it was clever, but I don't know how they plan on making a trilogy like they said they were going to since the end kind of kills any threat that the zombies pose. Also I want a zombie movie about survival. Like pure hardcore survival. The beginning of the movie was good about that with the apartment scene, but the second he boarded the military helicopter ruined the movie for me. It was no longer about hardcore survival, it was now about a specific mission with plenty of guns and food. :p

I agree 100% with your sentiment. I hope that if they do a trilogy the next two aren't about Brad Pitt or even in the time frame after the things he did. The best way to win everyone over (including the book fanboys) would be to make it about other characters from the start of the outbreak and what they did to survive.
