how long does this stuff usually take? i told my roommate id level my necro a bit tonight and ive broken even on the exp bar relearning Blackburrow... was hoping to at least hit 8 on him tonight.

oh god two all-nighters in a week. i'm back into everquest it would seem

right now hundreds of neckbeards are startled by their bat phones.

the message is clear, full server respawn

their bodys are not ready but pixel frenzy is too much. the thought of an AoN drives the neckbeards to their keyboards. its raiding time.

Rogean: Fixed an injection that exploited throwing and archery attacks without a delay.
Rogean: Fixed an injection that exploited spell casting from invalid gems.
Kanras: Level 51+ buffs have a limited level range for the target they're being casted on.
Kanras: NPCs have the potential to gate starting at 20% of their health.
Kanras: Rogue hide will function the same as invis + IVU stacked.
Kanras: Non-rogue (racial hide) will function the same as invis.
Kanras: Mobs that see through invis/IVU will similarly see through hide.
Kanras: Added the distinction between direct and indirect hate.
Kanras: Mobs with indirect hate (obtained by another mob yelling for help) on a target cannot yell for help to transfer hate for their target to another NPC.
Kanras: The only way to prevent the transfer of direct hate to another nearby NPC is to be sneaking in the proper area of that NPC's visibility. Invis/IVU/Hide etc. no longer have any impact on whether direct aggro will be transferred.
Kanras: The Lull line of spells will no longer notify the caster when they have worn off.
Kanras: Some mobs now have the ability to scan the surrounding area for new targets while already engaged.

Never had to patch anything or download the files before, I have ran eqemulauncher a few times? Could that have downloaded the files that allow me to play when the patches hit. Guess we'll see if I have to download that or itll just work like through every other patch.

Why ppl crying about rogue hide? still operates as it used to pretty much, only hit hide took was not being able to hide on druids or halflings whatever non rogues to avoid undead mobs.

Before, most SI mobs would still not see hide. Nothing in seb would see hide, even though a lot of it could see invis. Didn't matter if the hide was racial or rogue; they worked the same way. The only stuff that saw hide was stuff like dogs in chardok.

Now anything that SI or SIVU also sees a rogue's hide, and all undead also see racial hide.

Is this classic? I just remember rogues back in the day being able to hide/sneak their way pretty much anywhere and everywhere -- recovering corpses from deep in see invis zones etc.

I want to say I remember rogue hide/sneak being head and shoulders above invis/ivu/racial hide on live... but I didn't play much during kunark era and I wasn't really one to mind the details of stuff like this so that isn't really much to go on.

Definitely sucks though.

That is pretty much what I remember having to do. :eek: It cost a shitpot when you died. Paying a Necro and a Cleric, and a Druid to get them there lol. . Not counting crapping your pants hoping to find both before Rez Timer ran out. Going to get ugly. :p
