If it was just one IP the DDoS attacks would stop immediately.

More than likely someone paid money to rent out a bot-net to bring us down. I doubt the hacker in question has access to tons of dummy senders.

That being said, I have no idea how much traffic it takes to bring down p1999. In any case, you can guarantee he is paying some money to do so.

My guess..and this is purely a guess due to the timing...is systolic. GMs didnt give him his account back after his post about hacking and rmt...shortly after that ddos hits us. 2+2=5?

I think it's possible to spoof IPs. Even if you gave out an IP, it may not be the true one.

If the attacking IPs are coming from certain subnets, those could be blocked on a server/router's side.

as said, DDOS doesn't work like that. there is no single IP address for them to give us (if they wanted to).

in any case, i support a good old fashioned butt kicking if anybody actually does know who it is.
