Organizing Nightly AE Farm of Nurga/Droga

Yo, my name is Tailwhip, I'm a 51 monk and I'd like to start organizing nightly AE Droga/Nurga groups to work on faction for Chardok.

This faction is pretty handy for scouting Chardok in the expansion as Spirit Wracked Chords will be a popular item to quest for.

For those of you who forgot its stats:

Spirit Wracked Cord (Lore, No Drop)
All/All
Shoulder, Arms, Wrist
AC12, Sta5, Hp100, SvCold+10, SvMagic+5
Effect: Aura of Battle
Weight: 0.0


I'd preferably like to do this at night or early morning due to the annoying DDoS attacks we've had as of late. Until the tool responsible is done acting like a douche bag, it would be most efficacious if we organized these groups less likely to be interrupted by such attacks.

Okay cool. Shoot me a tell around 5-6 server time. I've never mass pulled Droga before, and there are challenges like Harm Touching mobs along the way so itll be an experiment until we can iron out all the details.

Step 1: Have necro pull entire zone to zone in
Step 2: if time permits, have necro pop heal retro on you
Step 3: necro fd
step 4: warrior pop riposte disci with earth shaker
Step 5: don't 2box your necro and warrior doing this
Step 6: profit
Step 7: AFK till next riposte hue hue hue

Not sure you're saying this, but there is a large group of people (see the other thread on this) that think Earthshaker worked by /Disc Furious . Furious was used to stay alive through tons of NPC melee. Weapons do not Proc on Ripostes - only innate procs can. Shakerpaging worked via Rampage on a Turgursed Warrior.

I have a 60 epic war, enchanter, and cleric that I'd be willing to use for this AE group.

Reminds me: did everyone ever reach a consensus on VS proc being innate? We were oh so close to fixed pending update. My vote was innate (yes on riposte).

Pretty sure Spirit Wracked Cord was a quest added in Luclin. Although it may have been the very end of Velious, can anyone confirm?

I thought it was part of Chardok revamp

I feel like I remember it getting worked on in the fall, around the time of the Chardok revamp... But for some reason I recall it being added in its own patch later on... I could be wrong tho. I don't have time to research it now but might be able to later tonight.
