Alright so I was randomly playing(I use ramdisk) I have had this happen before with no issues, And I lost power due to a storm. Upon booting up windows 7 again though this time my resolution was reverted to 800x600, I thought no problem i can just set it back to where it was and I did but it still was off, certain things on the screen weren't in focus like it wasn't just right. Quick google showed similar issues and system restore fixed the windows resolution issue.

Now for the main part, Everquest. I logged in and EQ was half the size of my screen and I figured the same thing, NP I can go change video resolution when I get in game. After changing it back to my normal resolution I noticed my UI didn't fit. I thought maybe something was off and just re-made it, until I noticed that my chat channels and such did not fit. Looking back at a screenshot from the other day I compared them and the old SS is wider then the newer one. By about 2 inches in game, Hopefully the screenshots size can explain it a bit better because I haven't been able to fix this yet and do not have a reason why its not going as big.

Just take a look at the side how the first is wider then the second.

AFTER, If you notice I cannot fit the ooc chat 6 on the bottom right. I had to move it

Any help or insight into this problem is greatly appreciated. I just cannot for the life of me figure out what happened and or if it was tied in to the windows resolution somehow. I have ran it from eqemulauncher as well as wineq, tried configuring multiple different settings. I will continue to google around but I don't see me finding a answer to this on google for EQ. This place is my best chance.

I think the images just explained it for me, I did a view image. ones 1600x1200(the wrong one #2) and the first one is like 1920x1080. Hrmmm, Well servers aren't working so when i get back from the movies hopefully the server is up and I found my answer.

Edit - Opened up the ini and added in 1920x1028 to the WinEQ width/height section and now I have the width where it is supposed to be. But its not fitting entirely on my screen anymore, about ////////// much of the EQ window is offscreen, and I can see a good 2 inches of my desktop/background still, EQ doesn't come all the way into a full window size. I must be doing something wrong. This is one of the more frustrating issues I have ran into, Maybe if none of this works by later tonight I will just format and go from there.

Still got some messed up issues, Seems whatever caused it and im going to go ahead and assume it was the power outage despite being on a backup battery/safety plugin instead of direct to wall. Now I cannot get my ramdisk drive to show, I have the saved image, the .bak up image and a 3rd image i created for test purposes. However I can start/stop ramdisk and my R:\ is no longer there. Before I had the box checked to load it at start up, When server started acting up I was tired of having ramdisk running 24/7 even though I wasn't playing EQ so i unchecked it. Had no problems until now. This is probably falling on deaf ears, But its worth a shot.

I am going to create a second partition and see if i can load one of the images onto it, I just don't understand if thats how it even works. My EQlite and WinEQ folders were on the R:\ i created for ramdisk, So that means they are on the backup images correct? hopefully I can just remake a new partition. Any speculation or input is still welcomed.

As for the original post problems, I basically uninstalled drivers and reinstalled a older version I knew I was using and then forced through the catalyst control center the reso to 1920x1080 and then used the centering tool to move it properly into screens focus and it seems to be working now ok.
