Just saying that we don't know the exact reason for the DDOS, but it's a strong possibility that it's some RMTer or cheater trying to get people to leave the server as punishment for being banned.

Worst case scenario, it goes on for a bit but dies off later. If it dies off in a week or two - even a month or two - and you decide to come back then, it's going to suck knowing someone else is playing your toon. Think it through before deleting/giving away is all.


Addendum: I don't have an opinion on whether or not you should leave - I myself take long breaks all the time - just that you should take a breath and sleep on it before putting yourself in a bad position in case you want to return when things are peachy.

I feel the same way you do about the lag but doesn't affect me as much in EC due to frequent AFKs. Just think back to the internet you had in p99. With that in mind, I don't seem to go LD nearly as much as I did back then on a 56k. Half full kinda guy.
