Kanras: The only way to prevent the transfer of direct hate to another nearby NPC is to be sneaking in the proper area of that NPC's visibility. Invis/IVU/Hide etc. no longer have any impact on whether direct aggro will be transferred.

Does this mean a rogue's ability to evade aggro is basically nullified?

if by evade you mean pressing the hide button in combat to detaunt yourself, then no that has nothing to do with it

what kanras is talking about is invis pulling and how sneak is the only way to achieve the same results as invis pulling
