Iksar Monk in Qeynos

So I've put it into my head that bringing my 12 Iksar monk to Qeynos is a good idea. I know that a Iksar SK can bank in the Qeynos Catacombs. But will I be able to bank in SQ once I've killed my 650+ gnolls? Will I be able to hand in Gnoll teeth, consequently lose corrupt guard faction and bank access in the catacombs, but gain SQ banking?

I've done a bunch of faction work on my iksar monk, just for fun. It's not easy. You can't hand in gnoll teeth regardless of how many you kill because the turn-in is at the Steel Warriors guild hall, which you don't raise faction with by killing gnolls. You can't invis and sneak behind the turn-in NPC either, because the turn-in NPC stands across from another NPC, who will see you because he's facing you if you're sneaking behind the turn-in guy. So to hand them in, you need to get a druid to wolf form you. Then you can hand in the moonstones you get from this quest for additional faction. This will make you friendly with guards, warriors, priests, and merchants (eventually). But you still won't be friendly with the caster's guild, and members of that guild patrol South Qeynos regularly, particularly near the bank. To get that faction upped is a lot harder. So I wouldn't count on it unless you put in a lot of work or want to risk banking near a bunch of angry casters.

as iksar monk you dont need faction once FD becomes reliable. my ikky monk is kos to everywhere i bank since that's everywhere except cab and i dont go there very much

The wizards around the bank are killer. I wouldn't suggest banking in Qeynos until maybe your 40's. Those guys will hit for 200 then nuke you for 500. I tried banking at level 20 after I maxxed guard faction so I could just walk to the bank, and those wizards would just one-shot me through the wall or around a corner.

You just run to the bank and FD? Can you bank while in FD mode or you wait for them to leave and then wake up?

I'm pretty sure you can't bank while FD. But you can while sneaking. So what a lot of monks do is to FD and then sneak behind to bank/vendor. But then again, maybe you can bank while FD, I've never actually tried it, but I'm almost 100% sure you can't FD and vendor stuff.

Also, just a side note, if you get to EC tunnel you should sneak behind the one vendor near shady and buy a compass. It helps out a lot for the 1-2 plat it costs.
