Anyone Playing Aion?

I played Aion at launch and quit when my computer at the time couldn't handle the graphics during PvP.

I just downloaded the game and my sweet level 29 Templar with pre-order phat lewts is still there, so I'm gonna play a bit. Only problem is...a lot of crap changed in 5 years and getting a straightforward update is taking too much time and reading of lore.

Anyone able to fill me in on the gaps of what might have changed since launch?

Thanks....and I'm Elyos but they changed my server at some point so I'm on one that starts with "I" I think.:D

I know they got pretty spammy with the way they tried to get players playing. If you've ever played one of those browser games where you can do surveys etc for "tokens" you'll see "Play Aion for FREE!" among all the crappy "Win an iPad!" stuff.

I think that says it nosedived, but I might be wrong.
