Iv been playing p99 recently by useing my phones 3g as an internet connection through the use of a program called PDAnet+ on my andriod phone. My phone died on me the other day and i went and bought a similar phone and re downloaded my PDAnet. I can use the internet and login just like i could before but i cannot get past the server select screen. I have here a DBG log from a failed attempt to connect to the server. It doesnt lock up my eqclient, it just boots me to login again. It also sometimes gives me an Error 1017 message.

Try making your desktop resolution the same as what the game is calling for. I tried a bunch of game res and nothing seemed to work till I put my desktop at the same reso. Once I finally got the game loaded and in windowed mode it let me change my desktop back to what I used previously with no hiccups.

can definitely try what absynthe suggested, but I don't think it will solve your problem.

Can you fuck with your port settings on your phone? To be perfectly honest i've never used a phone tether to connect to p99, so i don't have a ton of experience with it, but that would be the first thing I'd try.

Next i'd just try fucking with any settings you could with the app. or maybe try using a different app entirely? I apologize for not having more info, if none of the above works doing a search on the forums may turn up something useful (i am too lazy to do so right now, maybe lyra will bust in with her amazing search skills sometime today)
