Knowledge is free, knowing how to put that knowledge together comes in varying quality. Now, let's say government schools were abolished. Do you have ANY idea what would happen?

I have an idea; take a look at history when public schools were not a thing. Ask yourself some questions:

1) How many centuries did the medieval times last?
5 centuries.
2) How fast is technology evolving now?
Rapidly when compared to even a century ago.
3) How much did school cost in medieval times? What was the quality?
Peasants could not afford school, and the quality was sub-par. Children today go to school for free, or private schools exist that generally have the same quality.
4) How many schools were available to the general populace in medieval times compared to now?
There were far fewer schools across the land. Most subjects were just entertainment for kids, not actually learning material.

Let's compare that to present-day medicaid:

1) How long was Health Insurance around?
Early-late 90's.
2) How fast can you get approved for medicaid or a private health insurance company?
A few hours in both cases.
3) How much did medicaid cost for private and how much does public health insurance provide?
Both vary depending on income.
4) How much health insurance was available now compared to post-medicaid?
About the same, give or take a few/more.

This "other option" raises the price of medical care and forces people into a system where they will get a drastically lower quality of care.

In a society free of government force, everyone would be able to afford medical care because doctors would be able to specialize in low income people that they don't even get to see as of right now because that demographic just goes without medical insurance.

In a true libertarian society doctors would compete with one another for the low income demographic by posting their prices on their door and on their websites and the lower the cost, the more patients they would see. This would create a separate industry and boost the economy and there would still be specialists and doctors making tons of money.

Yeah, but I know people in the industry. There is bad corruption and hospitals cut corners to make payrol and get federal payout. Many legitimate treatments get underutilized or swept under the rug because they don't make good money or are not practical when tied to insurance. Hence only privately payed for medicine is the best and the rich are still served very well while insurance just lowers the overall standard for everyone.

Insurance companies are a racket. There's no doubt about that. The problem is we are way to far left of the sweet spot back towards the right on the issue.

I would say about 70% of the population has not the experience or research needed to validate my above points and that is a big big big problem. And big news is not helping either.
