Need some help

Hi,

I couldn't find any answers to this even after some searching so here is what I need help with. Today I used Duxa's installer tool and had no issues at first (and absolutely loved it btw!). I played for hours and had a great time.

Then I went LD... and now whenever I want to log in I get something telling me to select my EQ exe shortcut path (whut???). Please someone explain what I need to do like I am a 4 year old. I am bad with computer stuff. I don't understand, so I appreciate any help offered. Thanks. :)

are you using the launcher? EQemu launcher patches the eqhost.txt file and that could be a problem if you're not uing the launcher

Somehow it's working now.. Lol, someone emailed me some pathing stuff (??) .. it's working so I am happy. Lol Thanks *dies*

For future reference, it was asking for your EQ executable, also known as the file that launches eq itself. Generally this is going to be in the C: drive, the default install is usually c:\program files\sony\everquest\eqgame.exe

I sent this to you in a PM in case you never look at this thread again =P

it's good to know this kind of stuff so you can do it on your own!
