Abacab is being very cool about setting previous box players up with toons, level 52 + gear that's good enough to jump right into pvp and raiding but not overpowered.

Hopped on, got my cleric + war box set up then a group of us went and ganked off Lodizal. Now there just needs to be more ppl to pvp and contest shit. Stop pretending like there is any PVP on Red99. Try something new imo.

2 boxing, "character xfers", increased xp and a little bit of custom changes to classes to try to spice up pvp. Could be very fun.

Still never really a cool thing if your going to Host a Box and play that's cool, but hosting a box and playing toons and being in said guild with your buddies, is something that will destroy any integrity from day 1. Just leads to to much favoritism shit..

It's day 1 of box. There will be bugs. You chose not to ask to loot and scoot and got mad when you were killed naked running frantically for your corpses.

You ganked our 2 healers. Grats on that. Was glad to see some pvp already. But then you died x2 and couldn't get corpses because you couldn't manage any semblance of civility by asking to scoot.

Note that cabs player characters have the same gear as everyone else. He never once used GM powers on us from his GM character. Fact of the matter is that he was mostly afk soaking xp for quite some time because he was off helping new players with his GM. Less than 20 toons logged into box when I got on, why u mad I asked cab to come play for awhile? If nothing else we tested sebs a bit for bugs /shrug

As for Salty... idk, was surprised he got a BL leveled up after I was told no. But someone does need to test the class I'm sure.

Of course there are going to be bugs and that's fine, I just said its never ever a good idea to Host a box and have toons in a guild... i've got a level 52 warrior i transferred, and a necro that i'm starting from scratch. there's a handful of other people starting from scratch too. would be cool if there were more.

there's a PVP level restriction in most of the low end zones, so there won't be fully decked level 52s coming to grief you while you're grinding.

Why would you root a pet instead of fearing or mezzing? The PvP resist system makes root almost useless and if you're sitting there spamming instill on someone's pet you deserve to get coined.

So you haven't even logged on my sandbox to fight a beastlord and you're making assumptions about fighting a beastlord? Again, you're acting like they're so overpowered that they'll kill anything and everything with ease.

Not to mention every other class has their later-era discs (Warriors power slam, rogues thief vengeance etc.) and their later spells (Shamans get that 1.9k heal, paladins that 1.5 sec quick heal) you act like you're just trying to pop off greater heals while a BL pet is ripping you a new one with procs.

That's just some nostalgic bullshit of yonder year Sullon Zek, PvP didn't come full circle until they started adding twitch functions to classes you know like gauntlet strike, armor slice etc. because at that point it took a lot more skill to drop an opponent.

It's whatever, but you only fuck with people that are sub-50, you still haven't gotten that trak tooth, you still haven't gone into VP to challenge any body on the server worth challenging.

Its because you don't have the leadership, time dedication, numbers, or drive to challenge worth a damn, so you hang around unrest/guk/solb and never move from those locations; 6+ months later you're still going to be in that same exact position...

It's like playing WoW and never breaking 2200 because you can't ball with the big boys, cause you can't pull together a decent and dedicated comp.

Grind to 60, get random loot here and there; then sit around and do nothing... Maybe get a kill every now and then? I'd rather play WoW where I can jump into 40v40's in under 10 seconds, same with Guildwars2.

Half you pals are 55+ but can't field legit leadership to do anything, so it just stagnates from 100 pop at peak time to 75 to 50 until it's one guild on and random scrub pals killing in Crushbone.

and that is straight up Kimm's fault, Chewie's fault, and everyone else playing toons in random low pop guilds that would get trashed on if they even attempted a Talendor kill.

If I had GM access on Red99 I would delete every fucking toon that is above 50 and not attempting to compete against the top guild, and perma-ban those accounts; because that is a waste of time and you don't deserve to play if you're not fielding a challenge; fuck it I'd just kill the server.

Thank god big Salty here to test and show BL can pretty much get man handled by any melee class.

Between my two stuns that work on level 60+ the epic bash, the divine might proc and the epic proc; fully buffed beastlords really can't compete against equal geared hybrids.
