View Full Version : Noob evil race to GFay/Crushbone
Greetings ladies and gentleman,
Nub question for you. How does a stallion ogre-noob like myself get to Gfay from the swamp/feerrot area?
Not able to pay for a port so I'm interested in the old fashioned way to do it.
Thanks!

Gotta sneak thru EFP to the docks. Don't remember how.
Sneaking sounds like a nightmare. I was thinking that a port probably winds up with druids killing me when I land anyway.

Druid vendor's are non kos to evil races. That DOES NOT include NPC's like the rangers that hang out near the WC druid rings.
Most druid would be willing to port you for free, as you are new to the game and looking for some easy assistance.
When you get there it would probably be best to get bound in gfay so if you die you have a short run back. GL!

For what it's worth, killing Crushbone orcs will drop your Indigo Brotherhood faction, who are the warrior guild in Neriak. Basically only an issue if you go around their territory in the Neriak Commons. And you won't even be able to fit your fat ogre booty into Kaladim to turn in the Crushbone belts. Lots of other good places to exp though! Guk starts around L6, Unrest is around L12, then .. the rest of the world!

UNrest at 12 is a little low. Unrest around 16 is your best bet.
And in case Guk isn't your thing, I suggest Befallen. Seems a lot of people have forgotten about Befallen. Great low level dungeon, few people go there, great zone bonus XP modifier.

There is nothing at either the BB druid rings or Steamfont druid rings that will kill an evil on sight. I think it is possible for a faerie to path around the wizard spires in GFay and they are not thrilled with evils.
I don't know why newbies dismiss ports out of hand. It's super-easy for a new player to get a port for free if you ask nicely. And you can get invised as well, so it doesn't matter whether the NPCs are KoS. Just do a /who all dru 39 60 or /who all wiz 39 60 and start sending tells.

Short of actually wandering into the warrior guild building you won't be killed :p
