Hail and well met! Vex Dominus is now recruiting all classes and levels. We are a guild that's recently moved over from Test, and are looking to expand our numbers here on P99. Our goal now is to level and re-learn the game, those of us that are just newly returning, and just enjoy the quests and leveling and get to know one another, eventually we will throw raiding into the mix, but that might be a while. We are in no hurry to speed through content. A lot of us are trying out new classes and haven't decided fully on a main yet. We take all walks of life whether you are a seasoned old EQ player or just old, I mean starting out. :D We have a website at Vexdominusp99.guildlaunch.com that you can apply to and register and we have our own vent server. So please feel free to send a tell to any one of our members, and we'll get you invited. This is an adult guild ran by adults for adults. With that said you will hear sexual innuendo and profanity. If this bothers you please don't bother applying.

We have actuallyl just set up a network of invites bots I guess you could call them, toons that are scattered across Norrath that can invite in the newbie areas so its pretty easy now to get anyone in if they so wish.

dominus can only be singular, i.e. lord (not lords). i also think you mean vexatus in place of vex...you need to make a participle of vexo, vexare, etc.

if you wanted to be the "Tormented Lords" you would need to use the plural participle of vexatus, which is vexati: Vexati Domini.

If you want to be the "Torment Lords" not in the sense of being tormented but being the "Lords of Torment" then you would need to be another word for torment than vexati.

While I agree that he should have sent this in a private message and not on the forums I honestly think he was trying to be in his own way somewhat helpful. I work with several people who dont have the greatest filter but are really smart. Its kind of like Parsons on Big Bang Theory, he just blurts things out - and while often ill timed and somewhat of a dick - he means well.

I have grouped with people in your guild and find them to be great people - I wish you all the best as I think this server certainly needs strong guilds with new people in them to keep the community moving along.

Sorry you took offense to my original comment. Regardless of your flying into a hissy fit over it, it really wasn't meant to be rude. I honestly thought that if you wanted to give your guild a latin name you would actually want it to be...uhm, actual latin. maybe not **shrug**.
