After my humiliating defeat at the hands of a PCP addicted felon I am now rolling on the red server in an attempt to harden my body and my mind to the rigors of melee pvp.

I played on Sullon Zek on live but never as a melee and I can count all the pvp encounters i've had on p99 before Gaffin on one hand.

This is unacceptable and I will not be a victim, I will be like Jodie Foster in that movie I just watched where she shoots minorities for 2 hours. "tiggles"

I have to say even I feel bad for Gaffin. Most play this thing as an escape from the shitfest that is reality for just a few hours a day, and to constantly have your mistakes thrown into your face in the one place where RL doesn't exist long enough for you to take a breather is just ridiculous.

It's not that he made fun of him, it's that he dragged a shitload of info about his actual life onto these boards. It's horrible and immature that these people can justify their reasoning in doing this, and if anyone needs to be reprimanded it's them and not Gaffin. (Which in the case of Reapin came true.)

If you feel it is necessary to make a post, make sure it is contained within Rants and Flames. NEVER make a personal attack against a developer or GM staff, or you will be suspended. The GMs will follow the same non-personal attack policy. Its my job to protect both the GMs as well as the players. Play nice. Comment on content, not on the contributor. Personal attacks do not help make a point; they only hurt the community and deter users from helping to create a great classic server. Derogatory comments about another user may be removed by any editor. Repeated or egregious personal attacks will lead to suspensions and bans.

If you are more of a nuisance than what you're worth, your forum privileges will be revoked.

The prohibition against personal attacks applies equally to all forum-goers. It is as unacceptable to attack a user with a history of foolish or boorish behavior, or even one who has been subject to disciplinary action, as it is to attack any other user.
