I am looking for some gear for a Wizard. But the camps I am looking to get are perma camped. I check them day and night and there is always someone there. What is the best way of accomplishing what I need too? These people like never log off or something.
With intentions of buying these couple of items I tried to farm some cash in Sola but I worry about taking a bunch of mobs from some exp hungry folks. It is slow going.
I am after some impskin gloves and an ancient ring for jboots. I know the AC camp has always been a hot commodity but I used to be able to get the camp once in great while. But it seems nearly impossible these days.

Do what TMO does.
Follow by example and just take that shit.

When there was just 400-500 people on the server there was always a chance to get some camp if you were persistent enough. But with population getting closer to 1k most of the time it seemingly impossible.

Just be social and send people tells. Ask them to send you a tell when they are done. Be persistent and you will get what you want eventually.

Be patient, and also be patient to find a way to earn plat.
Some of the people who've been on server a long time have it easier, but so the fuck what? The game is still the same. And you can put in some time to earn what you need. I bet <10k would buy you all you need. Just farm treants in sk like me. Plz, someone. I can't take this camp anymore. Not kidding.

if only there were some game in which you could kill them and take your camp by force

and fuck jboots. sow pots ftw
I camped Impskin like a week ago. Just gotta send that monk that's in there 24/7 a tell and he'll probably let you get the camp sometime.
Sucks he's always there though.
Good luck on JBoots though. Tattersail is nearly always there. It was impressive at first, now it's borderline sad.

Wonder how people could even play this game with 2500 people on the server at once.

In groups of 6 (with a waiting list of 10 or more), camping a small area with 3-5 mobs, and spending the rest of the time socializing.

You are seeing exactly what I'm seeing lol I guess I will just keep being LFG and hope I get a drop from a group I can sell for enough plat to buy them eventually. I figured once these people had 5-10 of these items they would go elsewhere but that doesn't seem to be happening. Thanks for the input guys. Always looking for places to farm cash.

Get 46, join a guild that does fear clears and get carmine/cryo gloves. Wizards are always in demand and a lot of stuff rots.
Screw camping stuff IMO. Port people and use that money to buy the items you want. Or if you're sufficiently high level, you can get decent money (and amazing exp) from chardok AoE groups.

1) ask nicely
2) Fuck em and take it (you're a wizard).
3) Farm something else then sell
4) xp up and raid.
2 sounds harsh.... but after a few days of seeing them I'd consider it a favor.

Spent many-a-night sitting at dungeon zone-ins LFG, and many hours grouped in dungeons competing for respawns.
I remember before Kunark being able to walk through LGuk from zone in to Lord room, uninvis, and unaggro'd. Seb became that way with groups camping entrance spawns and ramp to disco, etc.
But if an item is highly sought either play off hours or make friends and get on a list.

Problem I have is it's hard to quad kite without the jboots clicky. I guess I could buy up some SoW potions. But in order to get through some levels at any decent rate I really need to have jboots. Makes like a lot easier. With the low hps and mit wizards have one resist on snare or root and I'm in serious trouble without sow.

what level are you? if 40+ farm hill giants until you get blisters. added bonus if 45+: kill basilisks while waiting for repops and get a granite bracer every few hours (petrifin)

SoW potions are a good investment (though with bearskin potion bags broken, you'll probably have to make do with single doses); you could also bind at your EXP spot, port to north ro, run to tunnel, get a SoW, then gate and kill stuff.

You don't need to quad kite. Just kill singles. It's not as horribly slow as everybody makes it out to be.

Yeah, a wizard and a Necro really do need J Boots. It helps them a lot. Monk needs them for pulling also.
