Hello everyone,
I was wondering what level this is campable? I have a 50+ druid/monk and I swear I camped it on my druid in classic. Some gauntlets of potence + an idol would be nice upgrades for my rogue but yeah any suggestions (or advice) for camping it would be helpful.
Thanks,
mef

He is going to run on you, the best bet would be the druid, just dot and rot

I would just use the monk and clear the whole idol/bg camp so you dont hav ea problem when they run.

Many goblins there have damage shields and run away which will be a pain for the monk. Go druid.

Yeah, a 50 monk is gonna get messed up pretty good by a bunch of level 30-35 necros, wizards, shamans... especially breaking in when stuff will be healing each other through walls and shit will be running (with sow) and stuff. Bodyguards harmtouch too, and chief is higher level still.
There's something about killing with root+rot that mobs won't heal themselves if you aren't in melee range too I think? So druid could do it decently for sure.

you have to be out of line of sight for this to work. but yes, i tried this on an epic 54 monk and it went badly. eventually one of them will run too far and you'll get 10 casters on you. go druid for sure.

Yeah is that intended or what? I guess it makes up for the healing through walls.

Mob line of sight issues are funny. My favorite is if you root a caster who is aggrod on 2 people, and a person stands around a corner but close to the mob... the other person can stand out in the mob's LoS and it won't cast on him because it is focused on the player who is out of LoS (cause rooted mobs aggro the closest thing to them).

I would take the druid. I sometimes kill the king and mobs around him and those two nearby alcoves on my wiz. They like to run.
Still be cautious even on the druid, the area has a lot of corners and if they get a distance away they have lots of opportunities to break LoS while casting.
