I know the Nec vs. Enc debate often comes up as a generic question, but I was wondering if anyone could speak to the speed of nec vs. enc charm soloing 45-55, soloing without charm during those levels, and cash gain from farming/easy camps.
I know the benefits of enc demand in groups, AE groups in the later 50s, and just raw soloing power in the high 50s. But, I'm going to level one of my 30ish alts mostly solo, and I'd like to be able to quickly get 55, make decent cash, and not necessarily be forced to charm solo for good xp.

how about the normal enc pet?
a dual wielding enc pet with haste versus a solo mob, while that mob is slowed is pretty easy. you memblur at about 50% health, then big nuke it and then you take the lion's share of XP. keep the mob rooted obv. May not even need to slow the mob since the level 44 pet is a monster with respect to health regen. very little down time.
try this on spectres (low hp) but not seafuries (high hp).
i think at 45 Oowomp is blue and so are dwarves.

if you want to solo and you don't want to be forced to charm solo, then enc isn't even in the discussion. you gonna fire up an animation and out deeps it with discordant mind?

Why would you even consider an ench solo without charm? That's like solo'ing without pets/fear with a necro.

As a chanter, you will want to be charming, sometimes it gets painful when charms won't hold or break at very bad times, but it's worth it. The downside is that when you take damage, you can't just lifdetap yourhp back. On the other hand, you make casters your bitch, which necros can't do.

Because I want to lazy when soloing some of the time. Encs can solo decently without charm, just not as well as necros.

I think like 54 +, nothing is faster than necro solo. Before that I'm not sure if their charm is reliable and they don't get manaskin until 52.

I know a lot of encs who use they animation to 'lazy solo' when they have things going on outside of the game. exp is slower for sure, but it's an option.
Most say it dies off around the low 50's (kunark mobs with high HP + hitting hard etc).
My enc alt is only 20, but I will use the summoned pet once in awhile. But of course for max efficiency it's charm all the way. But I agree there are times when you just want to be lazy and the animation is perfect for that. But as I'm sure you are already aware, it's no where near as effective as charm soloing.

Chardok AE is x10 faster and Enchanters don't have to faction to grind like necros

You can do Chardok AE solo? I never looked into the whole AE thing but I always thought you need a bunch of people for it.

Ele has this down. Show up after every pull, ask if anyone is leaving (tempts someone to leave). Unfortunately, like most groups, when 1 person leaves...
"Yep.. bout time to hit the old.... dusty trail" for all.

Happens a lot for sure. :( But I think a Enchanter can kill a lot more "High End" mobs than a Necro by far. But a Chanter is going to have to charm to make that happen.
