Gearing question for pally

Ok lets say I had 10k pp (yeah thats about all i have), and I wanted to round up some gear for a pally. Which would be the most efficient use of my limited cash?

Here is what I'm considering.

Buying FBSS for haste, since I solo pretty much exclusively this would help alot, but would drain basically all of my funds.

OR would buying like multiple pieces of lower end gear such as 5AC/55HP rings, jewelry, etc. be a more efficient use of funds?

I've already managed to farm him a few decent items. Lev. cloak, fishbone earring, Cracked Shield or w/e 12AC/9str. Sword of Skyfire, Baton of Faith... What he is suffering on is armor at this point. All my other armor is low end stuff or plain ass ringmail...

So what do you guys think?

imo tbb better than fbss especially for a pally. 55hp rings full banded, mr bracers, and a really good weapon should be priority. if more money than get a tbb, hoodef black cloak, and cheap ro pieces

good weapon and haste best things for any melee

haste depends. if you are root/jousting its better to knock the shit out of them each joust instead of haste. only seen one other person level a melee that way besides me but it may be common.

root joust

root mob, do one round of attack then step out of range til auto attack refreshes. get the heaviest hitting weapon you can, delay means nothing. itll save you hps beause you arent getting rounded while you are waiting for auto attack. i dunno if its that efficient but i noticed a diff.

there is a more ghetto version i did recently on an untwinked warrior. i would attack then strafe run away til auto attack refreshed. allowed me to solo whites/yellows in full cloth. pras.

45+ You must buy a dw helm for healing.

Ghoulbane for lower levels (20-40 in unrest is super easy with it, hags are very good to grind on).

Get FBSS and cheap armor items such as darkmail gloves.

What are good options on this server for the range of a few kk pp per item for those slots?
