tradeskill level cap?

IE: i'm level 10 and i can only get (skill) to XX level

You can go above 200 with one tradeskill, the rest afterwards will be capped at 200.

Most tradeskills don't have a viable path to 200 in classic FYI.
You might need to wait till Kunark before you can hit 200 depending on which tradeskill you are going for.

i'm honestly trying to make a full on craftier. i have an EQ tradeskill site bookmarked so i can look up the recipes, i just need to look at some of the components to make sure they are available in classic.

It's not 100% but it's currently the closest thing we have.

There are still a hand full of recipes that should be in the game but have not been patched in yet and a few that were not classic that should be removed. I'll go ahead and bump the combined list so you can see for yourself.

You want to use the archived version or you will drive yourself crazy with the way they have things currently listed on the live version. Trust me!

Im maybe wrong but I think nobody answered the question ...

He asked if, when he is lev 10, he can get to 200 ( or whathever the max is) in a tradeskill. I think the answer is no, but someone can correct me if im wrong.

Tradeskill are supposed to be like other skills and limited to (your level*5) + 5. So a level 10 can level a skill to 55 max.

But i didnt try to level a tradeskill here so im not sure if im wrong or not.

If not i would start a shaman level 1 to raise my alchemy and make potion for my other toon

the answer is yes, you can currently level up your tradeskills at will from level 1.

I think you have to be a certain level to even start alchemy (25 maybe??)...as far as the non-class/non-racial specific tradeskills, you can skill them up at any level. My tailor is 158 (which I think is as far as you can go in classic for tailoring) and he is only 17...my pottery guy is 148 at level 12.
