I put a ton of time into EQ, quit a couple years ago but still log on to talk to random folks and what not, was a pretty cool community right around kunark release.... So I logged on to EQ today to chill for a bit in EC tunnel, and being slightly bored and trolling with a sense of humour I auctioned /auction selling my ogre warrior for hugs and kisses. Low and behold a guide sends me a tell saying he got multiple petitions, I told him I was just joking around hence the hugs and kisses as currency, and then moments later my account is banned lmao. I don't really care as I only log on to p99 for shits and giggles lately, but seriously? Is this what p99 has become? No one can take a joke and instantly runs to GM's to tattle tale on people for obviously super f***ing retarded reasons?

Sad to see, p99 was hella cool back in the day, I hope it gets back to its former glory with a server reset at some point or something, anyways.... just felt like venting about the lameness that the server has become lol

Would rather have the account be banned than get traded for RMT. If OP thinks they were unjustly banned, they can petition in the appropriate section of the forums, or contact me, since I'm the one who banned him.

If you get banned, making a thread about it in server chat isn't the way to get unbanned. But OP doesn't want to be unbanned anyway, so pfft. Not much point to responding.

As weve all witnessed first hand, Derubael responds to alllllll petitions very quickly, sometimes within a few minutes. The question is, how long can this awesome GM keep up the amazing work? If he got let off with a warning, then anyone could just go "WTS ALL MY CHARACTERS FOR (insert desired type of moneys)", and if they get caught they can just say "lol I was just playin doeeeee XD". So no one would ever get banned until after the fact, making too much work involved

people get banned for ooc if they abuse the ooc channel. its not for RL attacks, its not for racial slurs, and its certainly not for RMT
