FWIW -
Don't:
Make a ranger...
Only:
Make a wiz if you're a sociopath until 60 and hardcore raider thereafter
Make a druid if u only plan on hitting 50 and quitting
Make a monk if you think you can actually monk
Make a shaman if you wanted to do shaman things eqmac wouldn't appreciate you doing
Make a bard if you plan on getting good at it and not swarming 24/7
Otherwise server needs everything else.

Friendly advice. Don't box. I wish we could here, but ya cant. And the GMs are very good at finding you and banning you. There are plenty of people here to group with so boxing really isn't needed to enjoy the game. It would just make some things easier.

Is it really that bad that we have to warn them? lol

Well...boxing is a way of life on eqmac. I would assume many are not happy about the no boxing rule here.
And they may underestimate how strictly they enforce the rule here. Just trying to save someone some accounts and time.

A reason a lot of people boxed was due to the low population. It got harder and harder to continue playing through the levels as the number if people were sparse. A lot of class can't solo. However they work wonderfully in a duo. They've tried to increase the population but let's face it, Macs are expensive and those in the gaming scene don't really care or own Macs.

I seen some harsh rulings on boxing. Don't even log your friends character in for them on an IP exemption. You will get hammered. It's serious business.
This is the staffs sandbox so respect that it is theirs and their rules, and judgments to pass, and you will do just fine.

They talk shit about P99.
You're not allowed to post on their forums about P99 or you get banned.
Any talks about P99 in a thread..the post will get Deleted.
They all think you're toxic.
Not even trolling

eqmac was a pretty good server but the people there are fat, mad, and bad.
I will be coming over after the server shuts down as well as many others.
I want to be a tank class and have played paladins and SK's my entire eq career.
Any special "bugs" on any tank class that make them better or worse than the others? It would really help me decide.
Thanks

Actually EQ mac is 1 player who 300 boxes and has severe multiple personality disorder.

Yes, all of the players are just figments of Hobart's insanity.
