When and where will tourny be and can it be watched? FP arena would be nice for lower level crowds to watch. Obviously not as large as lake rath

Server staff usually summons spectators that send tells 10-15 minutes before the event begins. Watch for a broadcast.
Oct 26th, 1pm EST (However the U.S. is still in Daylight Saving Time mode for another week, so I would assume it is 1pm EDT)

I actually think the FP arena would be a cooler venue for this. Walls are nice for the competitors and the lowered fighting arena / stadium seating around make for a better spectating area. Probably a bit late to change that now though.
Also, brackets, wru?

if anyone wants me to play their toons I am good with all classes but bard. I am very good as a cleric and druid and paladin.

I could totally be wrong, just thought I read that somewhere - I think it went hand in hand with their outlawing account selling etc

Having ringers play your account during BotB is against the stated rules, but it hasn't been enforced. There are some titles that were won by ringers instead of the actual account owner.

Well sometimes RL happens and you can't make it and you don't wanna let your partner down. If its against the rules I apologize.

I don't even think it was in the stated rules. I was privy to hearing a GM say "so you're gonna be out of town, better find someone to play your account"
It's not like they were being coy about it.

At least the first few it was stated, then it slipped from the remainder of the rule sets. Really cheese though to let someone else win a title for their character.
Calling all Monks, Mages, Bards and Warriors. Sign up is in process for this event.
Sign up Cut off will happen on August 13th.
The owner of the account must play the character, no "Ringers" will be allowed.
The owner of the account must play the Magician, no “Ringers” will be allowed. Any account found with someone besides the registered and original owner of the account playing that character is breaking the EULA as set forth by Verant Interactive.
Spectator and General Rulings

I don't think it's cheesy, what if someone is legitimately unavailable? Too bad, so sad? Granted, I won two titles on characters that aren't mine so I guess that kind of disqualifies me from the conversation since I'm obviously biased.

I think it should be fine if someone plays your character, but I think only the player playing their own character should get the title.
This way the partner isnt skrewed because his friend couldnt make it, but his friend shouldnt get the title because he didnt play.

It is akin to sneaking into a classroom to take a test for someone else. Should earn your own grade.
Granted -- enforcing the rule is impractical, if not impossible.

well maybe in this case where the guy brags about circumventing the agreed upon rules action could be taken.

on red server ringers were allowed in best of the bests, and several titles were won on other peoples' characters
hell even one guy played 2 clerics at the cleric botb and no one cared
