Ban for posting Eashan RL pic

Also, you are from Fennin you should get in touch with the fine folks from TMO they are the number 1 guild on this server you may find some old friends.

A note to newcomers.

You may think these people are mostly overweight. Incorrect. In eq, one tends to develop fat stores for especially long raid nights, or die. These people are, in fact, tip top cyber athletes primed to compete at the highest level of grindage.

I'm pretty sure they are using an illegal and complex form of blood transfusions to remain at that kind of peak performance.

Wow, TMO is still going?! I knew a ton a folks from there! No banning for posting pics of Eash! He's nothing but a big teddy bear... well, really REALLY big teddy bear LOL.

Hell, if I can post a pic of me lookin like a cow, no one better complain.

Actually, this was in Seattle. I've got 2 or 3 other years worth, two in Vegas and another in ... um... shit, can't remember.

We had some serious fun going to those, we had custom shirts made with all our characters photos on them and a listing of all present members on the back, was such fun.

Look, we spent 36hrs online without sleeping for some raids... we had to have extra storage for when the ramen noodles were too much of a bother to fix!

Amadalia I forgot to mention.

This forum community is toxic, It is filled with self hating EQ players,Sociopaths or asperger patients. There has been numerous incidents of people posting RL pictures, addresses, pictures of loved ones and even RL stalking over EQ drama.

The in-game community is fantastic and unless you enjoy drama(I know I do) I would stop making nostalgia threads like this as it is just going to attract the negative element of P99.

LOL, it's quite alright. Been gaming for 12 years, I've gotten very thick skinned... especially being one of the few "real" females that play. No worries, very little will every bother me... and I'm warped and twisted because most comments like this are funny as hell, seriously!

PS He's right, that is tip top shape for gamers :P

Isn't every single convention a giant orgy. I used to work for large accounting firm, and when the national firm-wide convention took place, it was like the guys and girls who never got action due to being...well...accountants turned into sex monsters.

I hardly imagine EQ would be any different; these people are even more sexually repressed.

I had so much fun at Baltimore Fan faire. I went with my parents who both played. I was 17 turning 18 the following month so couldnt get my own room or anything but ended up getting hammered at a room party and taking the hotel shuttle bus with a bunch of people to a bar that was doing karaoke and ended up getting servered and partied hard for the next day and half. I didnt even see my parents from saturday morning til sunday morning when they paged me to come back to the room cause they were getting ready to leave. Never forget a fellow brellian busting out Johnny Cash's "Ring of Fire" at the bar.

I would have to say it was more of an orgy than not. Many of us came with a better half, but for those that didn't... yeah, it was hookup central! I mean, seriously.... 25 guys for every girl, easy, and they went after them let me tell ya~

Alcohol made it's rounds, Skyll even rented a room for us at one of the fanfaires since our party started including all the FR guilds and we ended up with over 100 people. Got told to rent a ball room or else LOL. We had probably 20 coolers of booze, tables and chairs full of people, and more than a few passed out on the floor.

Ya know Tiggles, I mebbe should post a RL life pic of me. Then you'd know, I am laughing at all of us weird freaks, myself included. I have, for example, actually used empty 2 liter coke bottles for super-quick bio. Recently.

No need to get all sandy Tiggles. If you want toxic, I can do toxic, not really my style, but my post was not toxic. It was self-deprecating for all us strange people who play this 14 year old elf simulator.

Oh, and stop white knighting. It makes you look desperate.

Maybe it's for another reason than you're implying. Some girls really find it annoying to be called "bro" or "dude" all the time. If it were reversed would you want people to assume you're a girl when you aren't?

Maybe that's not the best example... Most of you whack jobs play female characters and like to fap to your own toon and flirt with other guys for free equipment. I've seen it happen.

Lol.. Men...

ROFL... I've seen it happen too. And how many men do you know that made lvl 1 toons with nothing on and run around dancing in EC for money? Oh yeah... I've seen it all, however I am ok with being called "dude", though "Bro" gets on my nerves a bit. Luckily my teens are now out of the house and I'm no longer subjected to it at home!

Nice to meet you Sidelle ;)

Haha, I've played with tons of women in various MMOS and none of them would be going into the forums to proclaim loudly how they REALLY ARE A REAL GIRL! The only ones that do that are the attention whores and I'll happily make fun of them no matter what their gender is. In my experience it is actually quite rare for a woman in an MMO to get offended by someone sayins 'guys' etc.

Who was the GM that nobody could stand? I remember him being introduced to the entire convention, and one of the cooler guys in the Brell crowd yelled out "You suck!"

Oh you're so right, they did it at EVER FanFaire, I swear. I hated him too and I was a Sr Guide on his main server for 2 years LOL... Started with a B and I'll be damned if I can remember. I'll have to go look through my logs and see if I can find it.

Honestly, didn't mean to come out and yell "I am woman, hear me roar" or anything, was more just stated as a happenstance when I was talking about the fanfaire. You are right, most of the time I was always one of the guys and not much of a problem with it :)

I agree!! Although the word "guys" is a fine. I usually correct them with "sis" or "ma am" if they say sir. It is no big deal really. How are they really to know who is behind the keyboard. Most woman have better things to do then play a video game.
