18th November - 50% bonus XP

Rogean's announcement about increased XP to encourage EQMac players to play back in October was a great one. At the tail end of the message came a comment that we'll have 50% bonus XP on both servers here (its already high on red, so you'd level very quickly) from 18th November (Monday)...

...back up to 50% again when the EQMac server officially closes on November 18th.

Our existing players are free to spread the word to any EQMac friends they have, but as usual please adhere to the policies of any message boards you are posting on. This means no posting and/or spamming about Project 1999 on official Sony forums.

I've spoken to someone who said they're hoarding CB belts/pads for an alt they want to bump into the teens...Monday will be a good time to push out of tricky hell levels, or quest past an early part of the game you don't enjoy so much.

As someone leveling a rogue at the moment I'm very grateful anyway :)

On Live I don't think turning in items during bonus exp worked, it only gave the normal exp. Does anyone here know if bonus exp affects turn ins as well?

Also can't wait to help level with a few EQMac friends who are starting here tomorrow. Leveling should be nice starting Monday, hopefully we get to keep the 50% bonus for a few days.

According to Rogean's post though we are already enjoying a 20% bonus, maybe its less noticeable to have an extra 30% on top.

Last time Rogean turned on 50% exp he went to Sony Fan Faire or whatever it is called, then forgot it was on, and left it on, for awhile.

Let's hope something like that happens again. Soooo I wouldn't press for any kind of timeframe.

It has always boggled my mind how difficult it is to find out when xp bonuses are actually active and what they are set at.
