Who you got tonight? so many people saying hendricks but i still think gsp will win. rick story clinched up jonny and did well, i dont know why gsp cant do the same thing.

it feels like when everyone was taking weidman and i thought silva would win. who knows!

and it would be amazing if chael won. seems very hard fight for chael tho.

im taking lawler over rory mac too

The judges need to be better than they were for the Jon Jones fight or UFC's integrity going to take another knock.

GSP still got it, I think he'll surprise everyone again :)

ufc would be better if they learned how to take hits more or eliminated weight classes.

judges are appointed by the state athletic commission. has nothing to do wit the UFC. unless there is some backdoor tactics

Hendricks won that shit and it wasn't close IMO. Even Dana White said the decision was bullshit.

Jon Jones fight repeated... judges are either paid off or short sighted.

Anyone comparing this decision to Jones v Gus is beyond retarded.

2 sets of judges make 2 wrong calls in the space of a couple of events... can't compare the fights, but you can see a correlation. Shit's corrupt.

one was in canada, one was in vegas. i dont think it was the same judges.

dana went nuts in the post fight conference. saying the governor needs to step in and the NSAC blows and it was the best now its the worst. Dana thinks hendricks won and should be the champ, GSP is the biggest ppv draw in the company and all-time, obviously its "better" that GSP won, so why is dana upset? When the promoter has to step in on the FIGHTERS behalf, the commission is doing something wrong.

tldr = if anything the UFC wold pay the judges off so GSP would get the close decision because its better for business. dana says hendricks won and should be the champ

Georges hasn't been the same since his surgery. He looked like shit against Diaz as well, difference being that matchup stylistically favored him.

He edged out rd 3 and clearly took the 5th. Can't really say it's a robbery. If anything, it's Hendrick's fault for coasting in the last rd.

Would have been sad to see GSP go out like that anyways. A shell of his former self losing to a fighter he would have wiped the floor with just a couple yrs ago.

Yeah the conference was quite eye opening. Still though, two fights have been quite a dark chapter for UFC this year.

If the Nevada State AC can't be trusted, he needs to boycott the state. If one thing is for sure its that people WILL travel across the US/Canada/globally to see fights. I know its popular in the UK (our "own brand" of cage fighting is beyond a joke here).

It is painfully obvious that you know nothing about the sport, legislature or the business side of things.

Explain? I probably know/have read more about boxing, and UFC isn't so different under the surface. You're sounding like a UFC fanboy that thinks the sport/franchise is above corruption.

Anyone comparing this decision to Jones v Gus is beyond retarded.

Although Jones/Gustafsson was a closer fight, both fights reeked of poor judging. However, both challengers made the (mental) mistake of fading in the fifth round, whether intentional (Hendricks) or not (Gustafsson).

Immediately after Jones/Gustafsson I thought, ok wow, Jones met his match and lost fairly convincingly, although I thought he would win a rematch with a grappling-centric change of gameplan. After Hendricks I thought, oh my... GSP has got nothing for Hendricks, now or ever.

Despite all of this, both matches were close enough such that neither one was a robbery, but both were surprises that had me saying, "Who the f*ck are these judges?"

Well known amongst the UFC Fighters and their related circles you will NOT win a belt off of scorecards.

Velasquez vs. Dos Santos 2, Henderson vs. Edgar, Edgar vs. Penn, I am sure there are more... all I can remember right now.

Edgar's fights were even closer than Gus/Jones or GSP/Hendricks.

Definitely hard to take a belt by decision, but has happened several times.
