I'm not sure if there is one yet but this thread will be devoted to College Football. I will start off with WOW @ the Auburn/Georgia ending. I sure wouldn't mind seeing auburn shake some things up just out of the hate I have for Alabama. I am a die-hard Texas A&M fan though, always have been, so obviously I'm hoping to see a good game this and next weekend vs LSU and Mizzou and hopefully solidify a spot in a BCS bowl game!

A&M has a good shot to beat lsu and missouri, but i think they'll split the games. i think they'll lose to lsu. auburn won't beat alabama though. alabama's defense is too good and not loose like they were when they played A&M.

Kinda sad to see how Georgia ended up since in the first few weeks of the season they were kicking ass. Personally...a sad fan of the Wolverines.

Yeah yeah yeah, he was only stupid for that because he got caught, we know they just about all do it, lol. I also agree about the disappointment Georgia has been this year, I was excited for them, but injuries absolutely decimated that team.

that's what i don't get about people moralizing college athletics, especially the football teams.

i think that part of it is that 99% of college football players, all divisions, don't even get a practice squad contract in the nfl. those that do make a team don't last more than 3 years on average, so it's some sacrifice in the present so everyone gets a hope of happiness, i guess. the arguments break down to tradition, mainly, which makes them illogical, and they seem to be covering for the ncaa/bcs/whichever acronym is handing out the money.
