Impaler is straight up better ratio, the darkness lines are heavy on aggro too.

Generally you want the better ratio weapon in your off-hand and the higher base DMG in your main (for stabbing).

Also to take note, poison is likely to generate a lot less agro than darkness due to the snare effect that darkness spells have. However, if you're in a group where runners are a concern and you don't have anyone else to handle snares then it may be more beneficial to use the dirk.

For the most part, go with the impaler.

get snare weapon and evade (stop attacking and hide) if you get aggro. everyone wants rogues to have snare weapons so I think that would be more advantageous than killing an extra mob every 2 hours

And that is the BR and impaler I assume... The Bone Razor it a raid boss drop so I would think its a good weapon

It's a great weapon for your level. Trak Tooth 10/20 primary only, Blood Point 10/21, and Rapier of Oriin 12/25 are your only options to upgrade main hand until epic. Bone Razor could definitely last you until you get it.
