I was hoping that I could tag along on a Fear/Hate raid to get some ranger rots. I am a 48 ranger. My life doesn't allow me to commit to a guild so I cannot raid. I have always wanted to get the revultant whip from the rats in Hate and the Ivy Thorned gear from Fear. I figured that since rangers are losers and nobody plays them that it would be easy for me to tag along and loot any rots :D
I don't know how popular these zones are for raiding anymore. Please message me on here or in game if I can tag along. I can usually stay up and play late on the weekends.
Thank you for your time!

A good number of guilds on the server raid fear/hate and have no "raid attendance" requirements. Might as well join up with some people you like and try to join any PoF raids that you see also, you would get to experience a whole lot more that way than just hoping for someone to let you tag along.

If your life allows you to raid (ie. if you have a few hours, a night or two a week), then your life allows you to join a guild. Not a batphone guild of course, but there are many other less serious guilds to chose from. Personally I joined Supremecy recently and I really like the folks in it. We raid both Hate and Fear, and I've felt no pressure to ever raid if I don't want to. Heck, twice now I've gone on raids and had to leave early because of real life, and no one complained or anything.
Not saying you should join Supremecy necessarily (though if you do, /tell Barahir), but you should look at joining a guild in the same league.

Thank you for the advice. I try not to join a guild as a deterrent to keep me in check for how long I play EQ. I just have this feeling if I join a guild that I will play too much. Playing too much gets me in trouble. I know that is a personal problem.
Anyway, it sounds like joining a casual guild is a better option. Thanks again for the advice.

Talking to people leads to them asking you for help. Helping people always takes 4x longer (at minimum) then that person says it will take.
If you're a nice person you won't ditch them mid-way through even if it takes way longer than it should have. This causes problems with your game/life balance.
