All guilds start out as Class R until they kill Class C content, in which case they would then be promoted and locked into that class?

Because I can't reply to the raid thread. Unbrella is asking a legitimate question, and according to this page: http://www.project1999.com/raid.php

All guilds are un-classed today. When you kill something, you'll get put in Class C/R based on what you kill on the raid.php page. My assumption is that this listing is updated automatically. So, if you Kill R, you'll be put in R.

Theoretically, for day 0, this also means you could Kill R (say CT) and kill FFA/C/R and not be flagged C until you kill in VP if you went that way. Really only works on Day 0, but follows the rules as they read.

TMO/FE/IB should agree to leave vp until after all the class R mobs are dead just for one last tear session of casuals.

I just wish everything would spawn at 12:01, would be simpler.

Successfully killing a mob spawned under Class C advances that guild to Class C automatically.

Doesn't take a VP kill to move to class C, just killing anything flagged class C when you kill it.

edit but yeah it sounds like theres nothing stopping tmo/fe/ib from killingb CT and then Sev (but not the other way around).

another question, on a repop does killing Draco before (or after) CT count towards the bag limit? kind of crappy is it does, since its really beneficial to kill draco before killing ct.

Successfully killing a mob spawned under Class C advances that guild to Class C automatically.

Gorenaire Class C
Severilous Class C
Faydedar Class C
Innoruuk Class C
The following mobs are exclusive to Class C: Druushk, Hoshkar, Nexona, Phara Dar, Silverwing, Xygoz

Kill any of these mobs on Day 0 and you become Class C.

It's not restricted to just VP.

Young rule lawyer, did you even pass the bar?

Yeah, I know, was just using VP in my example based on what Unbrella was asking in the Raid Discussion. I couldn't reply there so I posted here.

Again, this is all assuming that all guilds are un-categorized at this very moment until the killing starts.

You're missing the point, I'm answering Unbrella's question where he asks if people start at R. I'm just explaining that you could go R>C on the first day. Or even TMO/IB/FE could go into R and stay R if they really wanted.

Now, if TMO wanted to kill Cazic to be Class R, then Inny to be Class C and prove that this whole process was indeed necessary because they can't be assed to act like decent human beings. I guess, technically, they could.

I'm almost certain Rogean meant for tmo/fe/ib to start categorized in class C, and everyone else for class R. Thinking otherwise is just rule lawyering imo.

Pretty sure He was in our guild chat last night saying he hadn't decided anything on what classes the guilds would be or how it would be determined.

I'd love to see what happens when a guild tries to game the system on day 0, good luck with that.

lol, so many jimmies rustled... yet to see a raid thread where someone isn't upset or demanding some kind of modification to the rules.

Mezzmur, consider this about taking Class R mobs on day1:
We've got CT, Draco, Talendor, and Naggy. You've got TWO kills (per guild, so 4-6 depending on IB/FE as well) outside VP. Would you really prefer to have Tal over VS, Trak, Sev, or Inny (because FFA count for the two-bag limit as well)?

Besides, if you want to be dicks this first go around, sure, but I wouldn't try testing the "Class C ... may not kill a Class R spawned mob" rule. Unless you decide to leave the entirety of VP for FE and IB and stay class R (lol).

Well it's not a full repop scenario so there's no bag limit of 2. They could very well sweep all of the class R mobs, then decide to prey on any class C mobs. Once they kill a class C mobs they are locked out from the casual tier. I guess it will just depend how things spawn in the first couple of days.

After the last two+ years, I can handle one last respawn cycle. And it would prove (again) that tier 1 doesn't care at all about the intent of the law, only the letter.

You should take a moment. Reread everything the GMs have posted the past few days and use common sense. Hint start with Sirken's first post about the new system. Here is the key phrase.

Raid Targets will be fully respawned within 24 hours of that time.

Now strangely with this wording the server goes down and Variance gets reduced to basically a 16 hour window at 6 AM. GMs never said the repops wouldn't include the mobs variance is the key here. GMs did however say...

The repop on Tuesday will count as a simulated respawn, but I don't plan to count it against the 2 to 4 promised per month (Since we're behind anyways).

You gave everyone else on the server the big fuck you so you could get your rotation...so I say, fuck you.
