Quick shaman epic question

I con "looks upon you warmly" to the spirit sentinel in the building NW of CoM, but when i turn the complete book in I do not get a triggered dialogue or any faction. Is my faction not high enough yet or whats the issue?

What have you done prior to the turnin? Black Dire? If you don't get dialog or faction then yeah, you must not meet the faction requirements and need to do more sub-tasks like shield or gem.

I have done faction stuff up to the point where I get the book for the CoM pages, tried to turn the completed book once and the spirit told me I couldn't, now I just do not get a response.

Were you invis'ed? Common mistake.

Nah I wasn't invised, just ran up to him, handed him the book, and nothing, no message, no faction gain.

If he gave you the book, you should be able to turn it in - there's no reason to have to get any faction bumps between those 2 steps when you're doing it the "right way".

99% certain that he won't give you the book before you have enough faction to give it back when combined.... did you combine it?

I got it figured out and was able to get the faction maxed. My next question is about the fear golems? Are they heavily camped or is it posssible to get some people in there and kill them for the iksar broodling drop?

Pretty easy to get to. Join a guild going into Fear. If they don't have any shamans that need the tear, (and no greedy people that would rather sell the MQ than help you,) then it's pretty easy to tag along and loot it.

Fyi I've seen on project 1999 servers you don't need max faction with true spirit.
I've seen someone turn in the tear for the final fight and turn in for his epic just after hitting warmly.
Supposedly there's no way to track the faction exactly, only what the mob cons, very unclassic.
