Patch Notes, Monday August 2nd

[Rogean]

This patch involves changes to the Spells file and an additional Resource file. Please download the latest eqchanges.zip from the setup guide.


Secrets/Wenai/Nilbog: Classic wolf and skeleton models. (Note: dark boned skeletons will not change. They need additional work)

Code:

Rogean: Checks/Logging for logging into the wrong account bug. Please report occurances here (http://www.project1999.org/forums/showthread.php?t=13503).
Rogean: Attempting to log in multiple times from the same IP will now give the message: You are currently not allowed to login to the server becasue this IP has a temporary block on it. Please try again later.
Rogean: Changed the 7 minute rez timer to now only apply to exp-less corpses.
Rogean/Nilbog: Careful training kos guards to the East Commons Tunnel now.
Haynar: Added some quantity checks for items being purchased from vendors.

Haynar: Bard Song: Agilmente's Aria of Eagles - Will now require wind instrument to play.
Haynar: Modulating Rod - Is now a self targeting spell. The summoned rods should be tradeable and dropable. I did not check this.
Haynar: Summon Bandages will now summon a quantity of level/2, up to 20.
Nilbog: Vendors in East Commons will no longer assist guards.
Nilbog: goblin diver will drop the Barbarian Rib 100% of the time.
Nilbog: Only one Dulcyna Blackhand will spawn at a time.
Aeolwind: Fixed up Miragul's Spell Set and loot drops/stats.
Aeolwind: Added Lich of Miragul.
Aeolwind: Corrected spawn condition issue that was causing bixies in EC not to spawn.
Mixxit: Made sabrinas waypoint Z position match her spawn Z position

the contents of the new zip ruined all of my spellgems. I am a 45 sk. how do I change them back?

I use a custom UI, which means the spell file is going to mess up my gems, every since they were re done only for the velious and titanium UI,.... = no new spell files,.....unless there is a way around this

Peg cloak is now telling me "unknown spell"

Using Velious UI and re DLed the Velious zip for the gems and spell icons and I get this, the Icons work fine but the gems are fubar.

I just overwrote the gemicons with the files found under the classic gems found:

In Druid wolf form, my point of view is now at eye level to the Priest of Discord (human). I should be looking at his knees.

There isn't a sit animation, is that correct?

Don't train the guards, and you won't have to worry about it.

Does the newest "eqchanges" zip file always contain all the updates from previous "eqchanges" zip files? That is, if I want to obtain every single update you've ever made, do I just have to download the most recent "eqchanges" zip file?

I would assume so. You are downloading the most recent version of the eqchanges file which should include all updates/fixes. :)

My husband and I use a shared internet connection and with this patch it appears that we can't play at the same time. We are getting the "You are currently not allowed to login to the server becasue this IP has a temporary block on it. Please try again later."

The patch changed my classic UI. Here are some before and after shots of my spell bar and hotkey bar which seem to be the only things effected.

I especially would very much like to get my old hotkey bar back. I'm not particularly fond of this spell UI either. Are there simply values I could change in the new text files to get the old ones back?

And I must say I really appreciate your Stuck-up, self-righteous, I'm-better-than-you, arrogant, jerk-off response. So many other members of this community seem to have the same attitude as you (Possibly from being spoiled to the point of not having to work for anything in your life, and having a lifestyle that enables you to sit at the comp all day to play a 10-year old emulated game, and still have everything you need handed to you).

ANyway, I apologize in advance...I realize this isnt the R & F section, but I just had to speak my mind. =)
Too bad nobody with 3000 posts with a recognizable name asked the same question I did, I would have had it answered.
