i understand it's probably past your bedtime, you're probably pretty sleepy and need a nap, so i'll save you the task of having to spend more than 30 seconds thinking about something before you post some kind of moronic comment like MM is not a raid zone. no shit MM is not a raid zone, that was not the comparison that was being made. the comparison was that kids who cry about getting social aggro from the kites because they are in the SW corner of the zone deserve their fate for being dumber than a bag of rocks, just like kids that hang out at the MM zoneline who complain about constant training in MM are also dumber than a bag of rocks and deserve their fate.

Let's change the zone to KC. The general consensus is that if you set up camp at the zone out (usually a bunch of soloers) you're going to get trained periodically because that's just what happens: no one is going to sit there and die rather than zone out.

Trains at KC ZL not something to get mad about. They happen a lot, and there's even a safe side to sit on to avoid them. Now, if someone trains the safe side, then that's another story.

I usually just run the train through both sides so I at least know I hit the right one. I can never remember which is which.

For a long time, the train side was the best XP spot. People were nice enough to bring you tons of mobs. Sometimes even named =D.

I always liked to hit a mob with screaming terror and then hit him with a fear and then run to the entrance way ahead of the train and wait.

Then when a large random train comes running up people are all confused and I just act like an innocent guy and slowly back out of the zone.

Now that shit is classic.

More like KC is the place to get a quick pick-up group for an hour, or solo safely until you find a group there or elsewhere. Trains are just part of it.

Seb is a bit more of an investment, time-wise.

What it comes down to, training is wrong but it can and usually will be forgiven because it's part of EQ and we all get into a bad spot sometimes. You have to put others infront of yourself when you train and expect to be forgiven. You can do that by calling out a shout for a train, even if it risks your life by stopping and typing it but having a macro for it is quite easy. There honostly is no good excuse for not calling out a train.
