All I know is Cleric, Warrior, Chanter, Rogue would be the new STEM.

Ranger would probably be liberal arts.

Chemistry & Biology would be Shaman.

I was gonna say Anatomy but that sounds more offensive.

Anatomy probably better suited to Rog/Monk/War, with various specializations like Surveillance, Meditation, or Weaponary.

Zoology and Horticulture would probably be Rangers and to a lesser extent Druids.

Hmm, what else.. will edit.

Paladin would clearly be any major full of cool dudes that like to party and have a good time.

Necromancer - Forensic anthropology
Shadowknight - PE & Anatomy. Hybrids have a double major, accounts for the XP penalty.

Bards Music... Though I don't feel that major does justice for the amount of effort required to do well as a bard.

Warrior - MBA: Focused on loot distribution (especially for MTs) and leadership.
Rogue - Medical School: Backstabbing, and overdoses of organic compounds (poison)
Wizard - International Studies: Nukes and ports
Paladin - Women's Studies: Whiny, blinding, overly defensive of role in the group
Shadowknight - Psychology: Questionable ability to do anything except lay down, insistent upon his own validity
Magician - Geology: the 4 pet types are representative of geological effects
Cleric - Occupational Therapy: no explanation needed.

Also, for any raiders on this server, add a Law Degree. ;)

Rogues don't go to medical school. That implies some level of intelligence, playing the rogue class... Doesn't . No offense to rogues, but yea backstabbing and auto attack and hide aren't rocket science.

I may be looking at this the wrong way though.

I'm gonna break the mold a bit and say gnomes would be the only engineers.

Not class specific, more of a racial thing.

Animal and Dairy Science - Chardok AE Group Proxies - milking that exp, son!

French (changed major from Kinesiology) - Bards - Sirken has nerfed Low HP kiting, might as well surrender!
Masters in Internet Technology - Swish - MOAR GIFs Plz kthxbye
Special Education - Rangers - only good for tracking down retardedly rare mobs, enjoys a nice bowl cut, usually covered in bodily fluids.

Yea because any other melee class requires intelligence in this game? The ranger hitting snare, or the warrior hitting taunt really isn't much more complicated than a Rogue hitting back stab, or any other class for that matter.

Rogue is definitly an Anatomy and Physiology major =D.

Thus why classic melee classes feel so mindless to play for me.

Taunt/Kick/Bash
FD/FK
Backstab/Hide/Sneak

Very one sided to it. Monks at least have the requirement to learn how to pull. Warriors I guess get to click a mallet every once in awhile but that is just a 2nd taunt button that costs platinum.

Well, if you are playing EQ for some thought provoking complex and strategy intensive gaming I think you have the wrong game haha. I just prefer the rogue from an RP and class defining perspective, and from that perspective I definitly think medical school fits, because what other class can eviscerate your kidneys in a matter of seconds?

Necromancers.

Black magic and shit.
